C ORIGINALS S380 Bike Helmet Cycle Helmet

I had been putting off buying a bike helmet as I was worried it would be heavy, uncomfortable or just restricting, this helmet is none of those things.It is very light but feels very solid and protective. I have a smallish head but the adjustment is excellent. Would certainly recommend

The proof of a good helmet is a safe and sound head after a crash. Luckily, I can't attest to that aspect of the helmet.Amazon offer it at a good price, somewhat cheaper than on the manufacturer's website.Interestingly, although C Originals is not one of the better known names, they have been making helmets for other names for quite some years and it's relatively recently that they release under an own brand name.The helmet has a hard shell which seems to be seamlessly bonded to the foam body. with padded inserts within the helmet - they re fastened with velcro, but there isn't much scope for adjusting their position.A tension wheel at the back ensure a snug fit to the head, front and back, whilst the adjustable side and chin strap secure the helmet. Theres a little padded wrap on the chin strap to hide the dangling ends.It's well ventilated with 14 slots, and as a nice touch,, there is an insect net inside the front vents, to stop little beasts getting a lift and on your nerves. Mine is a bright greenish yellow - hi-viz, with 2 reflective patches on the back. The helmet comes with a clip-on or off visor.It feels quite comfortable and safe to wear. Perhaps not the raciest looking, but it'll get you to work or around town in one piece.

I love the colour and, unfortunately, already tested in a fall and resisted really good 👍

I like the product but found the strapping a bit of a fiddle. It would of been nice to incorporate a rear light or at least a easy facility to mount one from.I think this is a good value for money helmet.

My son loves this helmet. He has a larger head and so finding one that was comfortable and fits him well/safely was not easy. He cannot wear this with the chin strap, so we've had to take that off but it's still very comfortable for him. We just have to take extra care when buckling/unbuckling it!

unless it was me i had to take the peak off the helmet as with it on, i unless head held wright back could not see where i was going
