Fancy White Reflective Mailbox or House Number - 4 - Size 5" - (Select Size (2"- 6") and Digit (0-9) Below) - Thick, Die-Cut Exterior Grade Gasket-Like PVC - not Metal or Rigid Plastic

The height of the numbers varies to the extent they look awkward together like a mistake has been made. The number 1 is shorter than the 5 and the 4 is shorter than the 1. Apparently they are designed that way. I hoped that centering them vertically would make the variance less conspicuous but they still look awkward together. I really wanted reflective numbers so people can easily find my house at night on the unlit street but now think I should have bought bronze numbers for about the same price and painted them white. I believe they would look better than these "Fancy" numbers.The numbers are bright and easy to see in regular headlights but they aren't brighter than anything painted white. Although the numbers are bright enough, they do not store light, like some watch dials do, for example. They just reflect light. Turn off the light and there is no residual glow.The adhesive on the numbers seems to be sufficient and I like the font.

I had looked at some of the reviews on these numbers and had noticed that one person had mentioned that the number 4 wasn't the same size as the other numbers. I contacted the company to ask about this and got a very quick response. They told me that there dies were aged and worn enough that they invested in all new tooling and all the digits are now the same height. I received these very quickly and they are excellent quality and are the same size. The next time I get numbers I will definitely purchase from them again.

They are overpriced for what they are. The number 4 is noticeably smaller than all the other numbers I ordered and I was informed that it was due to the "nature of the font they use, and nothing can be done about it". So now my transom window that shows my address has a little 4 at the end and it bothers me every time I see it. It's even worse when my neighbor asked my why I bought a "small four".

These are the biggest reflective, stand alone (no background) numbers I could fit on my mailbox, and I got the largest mailbox I was allowed. They're not as reflective as I would like them to be, but I would probably have to get some that light up to make them more visible. I live in a rural area and these are much more visible than any others I found. They're a raised vinyl number, about 3mm thick, with some really good adhesive on the back. They're holding up really well and look very nice, and they don't cost much more than the thin rectangular decals with the black background and white numbers.Here it is almost 2 years later and these numbers still look great! I live on a farm to market highway with a fair amount of traffic, but it hasn't effected them at all. I take a wet rag out there every couple of weeks to wipe them off. That's all! I've had to repaint my mailbox, but haven't had to do anything with the numbers. I HIGHLY recommend them. I'll be getting more when or if they finally do wear out.3 year update - Someone hit my mailbox in broad daylight, so I can say the reflective property of these decals had no bearing. These decals have held up so well and look so nice that I bought a whole new set to put on after I repair and repaint my mailbox. I've paid special attention to all the mailbox along my route home and I have to say that mine surpasses ALL of them in appearance and visibility. I continue with my recommendation of the decals.

Only up for a month. Sticky backing holds very well. Make sure they are lined up properly before letting the sticky side touch the surface you're adhereing too. Numbers are far superior to the little placard numbers. They are easily read at a distance. The ones we bought were brilliant white. I would definitely buy them again.

Looks great, solid feel, very visible/reflective - not flimsy at all, like some people said. I looked everywhere for white letters to match the white trim on my evening blue house, but these were the only ones. I waited until it warmed-up, and was going to stay warm a few days (50F is the minimum!). Plan before you put them in place, because that adhesive is very strong, and you don't want to screw it up! To those who complained, all I can say is try to find better white letters - you can't, not at any price!

I bought the 3" size in white, for my on-the-street black mailbox. These numbers are very good quality & very easy to apply (just peel off the backing, align, & place onto the dry mailbox). The 3" size is a good size for a street mailbox, big enough & legible enough to see.I also appreciate that detailed instructions were included, with suggestions about temperature & alignment. And the instructions came on a piece of paper that was well-printed & easy to read, not like some of those faded 10th generation photocopies that are impossible to read.If you're looking for legible & inexpensive letters/numbers, easy application, & good instructions, these are an excellent choice.

We moved and installed a new mailbox like we had at the other place and I wanted numerals on the box easily seen by the mailman, by others who drive by know there's a mailbox there from the nightly visible numbers displayed showing well on a busy highway.These numerals show up great and seeing them easily, makes it also easy to locate our hidden driveway from the road front. For those whose vision isn't the best, large numerals are much easier on the eyes while searching for a house address in the day or night.I really like them and the adhesion is quite strong. I don't foresee them coming off anytime soon.
