LAURA GELLER NEW YORK The Ultimate Palette Baked Eyeshadow (03 Neutrally Natural)

This palette has all shades of gorgeous neutral colors, some matte and others with beautiful shimmer. They are highly pigmented, do not crease, go on like a dream, and blend nicely. I am a huge fan of Laura Geller's baked makeup and this palette does not disappoint - I love it so much that I bought another for my bestie! I think this palette was very reasonably priced, especially considering the range of neutral colors included and the quality. I haven't experimented with all the colors yet, but I'm getting there!

Large pallet with well rounded color combinations. Buttery smooth eyeshadows. Blend very easily. The pallet material is of a medium density. The clear front shows all of the shadows well. Wouldn't recommend stacking anything onto the box. Washes off easily with very little eye makeup remover needed. No staining from any of the shadows. It doesn't take much product for coverage, but builds well for deeper coverage.

I was very excited to receive this palette as I have the starter set and really enjoy the neutral shades included there. It's very hard to get a sense of the colours in this palette until you see it with your eyes and not a screen. There aren't as many neutrals as I thought there would be, and a lot of 'what were they thinking?!' shades, like purple, blue, and green. There are a LOT of shimmers, so if that's what you like, you'll be happy. I personally find it crazy to market to the 50+ crowd and think that shimmers are attractive. I do like the darker eyeliner, which is not quite black and a nice change from the usual dark black that's usually included. I got this for less than half price so the value is still there for the shades I can and do use, but there's lots of wastage. And there are some pinks as well, so you can bring this on a trip and not have to bring more palettes with you. The shadows themselves go on nicely and last all day.

I have purchased so many eyeshadow pallettes the last few years, trying to find something similar to the pallette I've been using far too long.I loved the colors in this pallette, but didn't want to spend $40+ on yet another pallette I might not use. Then it went on sale!I was so excited when I got it, but didn't have an occasion to wear eyeshadow for a couple of weeks.Finally, I opened it and noticed the writing on the side telling me what to use where...perfect for someone like me that doesn't use makeup a lot.The shadows glided on. They felt so soft, and I didn't feel like I had to grind the shadow onto my eyelids. The colors layer easily. I didn't feel like I had to put on 5 lbs of shadow to get a good color.The shimmers are gorgeous! They add a soft shimmery look, but not glittery. The darker colors look so pretty, but I haven't been brave enough to try them yet.I'm 47, with sensitive skin and rosacea. This eyeshadow didn't crease or settle into my wrinkles. It didn't irritate my eyes either. One of my favorite things that I noticed, is that the color stays where you put it. I didn't have eyeshadow dust settle in my cheeks or under my eyes.I highly recommend this product!!

This is a nice collection of assorted colors and includes mattes and glimmers, so I was pleased with that. There is no applicator brush or sponge or anything else. I guess the recommendation is that you apply with your finger tips. I’m less than pleased with that. Each shadow is quite small and it’s not so easy to get the right amount of product on your finger and then place it where you want it. I expected more.

Gorgeous neutral/natural shade palette. Every shade you could possibly want in that category. LOTS of mattes and a good helping of satins, shimmers and a bit of glitter here and there. Something for everyone. PLUS the brush set is actually very nice quality which I didn't really expect. But Laura Geller's brushes have seriously improved over the years. A bit pricy but worth it to me.

i hope the next palette comes with darkgreenish colors, in order to have more options.i’m happy with the two palettes what i ordered, but the colors are very similari need variety.thanks in advance…

I have been using makeup products for most of my 61 years of life purchasing from $-$$$$$ competitors and can honestly say, DON’T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!! These colors are VERY difficult in showing ANY shade unless you load up your applicator and even then, these shades DO NOT BLEND well at all and look really, really cheap! I’ve gotten WAY better results for that Smokey eye or beautifully orchestrated colors that make you look and feel good from the way lesser brands such as N.Y.C, Wet ‘N Wild and my favorite off brand E.L.F makeup products for WAY CHEAPER and much, MUCH better results!! Being on a fixed income, I’m very diligent on what I spend my $$ on and loving makeup the way I do, I will be completely honest on my purchases, any and ALL through Amazon, and share what I feel is a good bang for your buck or a “don’t waste your money” purchase!! Let’s fix each others crowns!! This ISN’T worth the price!
