Very sturdy. Quite hefty so you know it will provide needed support. It was very easy to put on the couch—just unfold the accordion sections and replace the cushions. I feel that the support is like sitting on a new couch now.It does make sleeping on a well-loved couch a bit awkward at first because you feel like you’re angled forward a bit, but I got used to it, lol.

I never really write Amazon reviews, but honestly felt that I had to share how great this purchase was.I think too many sofas are too soft in general, and you end up sitting very low, which hurts my back. As I bought a refurbished sofa, it turned out it was slumping quite a bit. But this product made it feel like new with a firm seating. The cushions still make it feel comfortable, just feels like someone replaced all the springs at the bottom of my sofa.Got it for my west elm three seater, works like a charm!

Huge difference when I easily install it on my couch. We’re not sinking in the couch when we sit and can easily get up off the couch. Very sturdy and a lot of support. It gave our couch and loveseat an extended life and prevented us from buying a new set. Highly recommended.

It really works to make the seat of your couch firmer without feeling like a hard board. It's a series of hard slats, covered and held together by strong silky cloth. You put the original cushions on top of It and they look normal. It's still comfortable but firm. It makes the seat maybe an inch higher than it was before, which makes it easier to get up from the couch.

This product is amazing. My sofa looks great. I have a sofa bed that doesn't offer much support under the cushion. This was easy to to install. I used it along with a memory foam cushion under. I can't believe the difference. This would work just fine on a sofa that doesn't have a bed in there. Mine needed some extra help as the cushions would sink in a bit because of the extra space on a sofa bed. It's nice to receive quality product.

I was surprised at how well this worked on my 20 year old couch. One of the length-wise wire springs broke right in the middle, and this product helped immensely without making it feel too stiff. The cushions still need more shape, but this device isn’t designed to help with that. Overall, it’s a very good buy. The size was perfect.

Was about to buy a new sectional because one side sagged. Otherwise couch looked great. Bought this product and it worked wonders. Just rolled it out and put my cushions on top. You can not see. It or notice any difference until you sit on it and you no longer sink! Just saved myself the cost of a new sofa.

We ha e a sectional only 3 yrs old but I like a firm seat. This gives a firm seat. Not hard , firm . Now it might slip a little but that is far from a deal breaker. I am buying one for the other side of my sectional and for my love seat. So very comfy.
