I received a package which contained a faulty bulb. However within 24 hours of my reporting this I was informed that a replacement was in the post. Now I know that things can sometime go wrong but if the fault is rectified, at this speed, all is well. I will have no hesitation in making purchases from this company in future. Customer service at it's best

Very disappointed with how long they last having bought two boxes I am already replacing replacements and will not buy again....

As with other Eveready bulbs I have bought recently these bulbs only last a few weeks, making them a very expensive option. In fact two bulbs in the pack failed to light on first use, so had to be returned for replacement. Eveready need to improve quality control

I bought 10 bulbs, similar to these but with a bayonet cap - Ever Ready dimmable energy saving halogen candle bulbs. One failed soon after installing, and another failed a few months later in spectacular fashion by exploding and throwing 5p-sized glass fragments up to 10 feet from the bulb. That may be a rare occurrence, or even a one-off, but it may be a risk associated with this type of halogen bulb. I would exercise caution if using these, particularly if the bulb will not have some form of shade or screen around it that could stop glass fragments if a similar event should occur. No discernible difference from the original incandescent bulbs. Have run them for a few weeks and so far so good. They cast a slightly different shadow from the metal elements contained within the bulb but other than that they're great.
