It was a longer wait for delivery for the replacement than the original i received.I'm still happy with the comfort of the cushion and refer you to all i said below.This time around i have all the screws so I can adjust and tighten the screws so the headrest is at different heights / angles and I'm glad that now i get to experience this! They even sent an Allen wrench with this order which i didn't receive prior! I'm glad i stuck around to get the replacement and am happy to have this on my chair. It saves me from buying a pricey replacement for my old but decent chair ( which i was considering again while waiting for this to arrive ) but it's finally here and I'm excited to use it!__________Better than expected and so glad i ordered! No complaints whatsoever! (uh oh- stay to the end)I thought this would be the same as the cheap neck pillows you grab at the airport, where the foam is dense and kind of rigid, but I didn't really care since it's just my work seat. I am so pleasantly surprised! It's insanely soft and squishy and cups my head so gently.There's this track pulley thing where you can slide it back and forth, with a little twist to lock the headrest in place.REALTIME UPDATE : this isn't a track exactly, it's 3 poles with holes that should have a twisting mechanism to tighten together with a bolt through the center. My headrest is missing this secondary bolt, so i can't lock it into place and it's currently sliding around or the headrest can fall right off. I can only upload 1 video, so I'll show pictures of the area with the missing piece.It was easy to screw this onto the back of my chair, no tools needed and no assembly of the headrest was required. I took it straight out of the box, and screwed it onto my seat and it clamped itself tightly.I still highly recommend this, if yours comes with all the appropriate pieces, because it's super comfortable!I just hope the sellers are responsive to give me that missing piece.3 stars until the missing piece is sent, then bumping up to 5 once received!

If you have neck issues and need head support on a lower backed chair like mine, i recommend you give this a chance.This head rest was not really suited for the type of chair i attached it too but it does work with some modifications. My chair is not solid backed, but has a metal bar running vertically through the center of the backrest. I cut into the fabric of the chair at the seam, through all the layers of foam and made sure the clamp was resting on the metal support for the chair and not on any foam/cushion where it could potentially slide off of.It offers solid head support when attached properly. Its very customizable and locks into place nicely, i can apply pressure with my head and it stays in place. The softness of the cushion is perfect and my head does not sink into it.

First off I’m a real person. Second I love this head rest. My office chair at work doesn’t have a piece to rest my neck after long days of coding but this right here is top tier. I can lean back and it feels great. Not too stiff but not too soft also it’s very well put together.

While the clamp is effective and keeps the headrest from moving side to side, the other knobs do not provide enough tension to stop the headrest from moving backwards whenever you rest your head against it. Even with the knobs fully tightened, the cushion continued to shift backwards beyond the back of the chair, providing zero support for your neck.

The mounting system design for the cushion is not good. It will not stay in place on my chair. The cushion is soft and comfortable, but it is useless if it won’t stay in place. Waste of money. I threw it in the trash.

The foam has like a plate in the center of the foam which then attaches to the hinge. I don't feel this plate at all. Super adjustable with the two hinge action allowing you to adjust depth and height. The hinges are the same length. They also provide you with an allen wrench to adjust the hinge tightness. You could make the hinges super stiff or just leave it a little loose for you to adjust while sitting in the chair. Just make sure to double check if it is tall enough when clipped onto your chair. There is a zipper where you can partially take off the headrest cover. The cover will still be attached in the back where it is connected to the hinge so you can't take it fully off. At least this makes it possible to handwash. For the part that attaches to your chair, the flat end has a little rubber/foam pad to minimize scratches and the screw part has a rubber/plastic cover as well. Not a big fan of the logo which is kind of a sprayed on rubber material but I'll try to experiment on how to remove it.
