SORRY--USELESS
Using all kinds of fittings and lamps my garage, I can't get this unit to work properly: either it won't come on at all in any level of light/darkness--a fact that renders it useless--OR it stays on all the time. I might just as well leave my neon light on all the time--or, of course, turn it off and remain in the dark. Can't be bothered to return this, and so it's rapidly on its way to that great socket in the sky.......

Love this, very different to standard fittings.Fitted with 5 colour changing bulbs, just love the effect this gives.Just buy it ....you won't be disappointed.

Haven't figured out how to use this on a lamp with a shade yet
The detector works well without a shade. More experimentation on a lamp that takes E27 (ES) bulbs required.

So Easy to Fit
Easily fitted, just like replacing a bulb. It gives a fantastic light. I used seven low wattage LED bulbs. This makes my kitchen brighter in the evening than it is with the sun during the day. It looks amazing. My friend likes it so much that she is about to order.
