Black Dynamite / Original Motion Picture

Um es vorweg zunehmen, für mich hat der Film bereits den Kultstatus.Ja, ich weiß, der Begriff ist überstrapaziert, aber dafür bin ich nicht verantworlich.Ein Freund von mir sagte nach 20 Minuten, "Mach aus, das ist doch scheiße!"Alle anderen haben sich gebogen vor Lachen, ich auch.Um wirklich alle Gags (offen und versteckt) zu verstehen sollte man ein bißchen Hintergrund zur"schwarzen Filmbewegung" der 70er mitbringen.Der Handlung hätte es nicht geschadet, wenn der Film 10 Minuten länger gegange wäre.Der Sountrack ist auch der Hammer, vorausgesetzt, man steht auf alten, rauhen, schwarzen Soul.

Ce film joue sur les clichés. L'humour est à prendre au 10e degré ! C'est tellement agréable de regarder ce genre de film. Rien n'est à prendre au sérieux ! Fabuleux

Andrian Younge is a beast & makes all kinds of music...I honestly cant stop listening to this album. Delivery was perfect.

This movie cracks me up in so many ways.. "Ha, i threw that s*** before I came into the room " one of the funniest scenes ever.

I luv the origianlity of the music score as well as the movie..It really captures that 70's soul sound without compromising quality

Man this movie was awesome and this soundtrack is just as awesome. If you've never seen the movie go now pretty much what ya heard there will be here

WOW, before I begin, it may be useful to know that you can hear high quality one minute fragments of each track at Waxpoetics website. I discovered this thanks to the site and I discovered the site thanks to the publication of the same name. When I first saw this, I was very excited. I was expecting, however, that this would be at least mostly instrumental. Unfortunately it is NOT. I'm actually kinda mad because this guy looks very talented. Multi-instrumentalist, and vibes...I love vibes! There's not enough of this kind of funky music being made today (if you disagree, please contact me and let me know where I can find it), and I guess I just prefer to lose myself in the "music" without the vocals getting in the way (check out Chris Joss.) Also, this is supposedly a soundtrack to a film, perhaps the reason I suspected it would be instrumental.But hey, I have a solution! Just as XL Recordings issued an all instrumental version of Rjd2's "The Third Hand," so too could Waxpoetics release an all instrumental mix of this soundtrack, at which point I'd give it 5 stars. There's nothing wrong with the music. I believe there may be one instrumental track (Rafelli Chase?)

THIS MUSIC IS NICE. I MEAN WHAT MORE CAN I SAY. EVERYTHING IS JUST THERE WHEN IT COMES TO QUALITY & VIBE.
