Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat for Nail Polish and Manicure, 0.5 oz, 2-pack

This is definitely the best top coat I've ever used though it does come with a slight learning curve. I followed what others have suggested and getting a good sized dot of polish at the end of the brush then dotting it near the cuticle and pulling it down and across the sides. That sounds really similar to the same thing you would do with any other polish, but the process is a bit different. It took me a few tries to not have way too much. If you applying too much it will slow down the sides into your nail Folds and then once dry kind of create a shelf which you don't want. Once you get the amount right though, it dries extremely fast to the point where I can get up and go to the bathroom Within a minute or two of being done painting my nails. Such a timesaver! Though I will say it's much better on dark polish shades because it will ever so slightly yellow or darken bright polish colors.

I work in the medical field, therefore wash my hands A LOT... I also use alcohol pads here and there, and to be fair, I'm used to only gel nails. That said, this polish loses its shine & chips after only a few hand washes, and don't ever use hand sanitizer because it almost comes completely off! I waited quite a while before reviewing, as my nails are my pride and joy, even over make-up (which I hardly wear) so my nails are always done to my perfection! The quick-drying version of the same name brand is wonderful! I believe that was in a light blue bottle... I'll probably finish up the bottles I purchased here, just because, but I will not be buying this one again unfortunately

This fast drying polish is the bomb! I have used this brand for years and I never let my supply get low. It protects my manicure from smudging when it is wet and then afterwards when it’s dry.

Seche Vive is hands down the top coat I recommend every time — it’s fast-drying without a UV light, thick and glossy like salon nails, super durable, smells way better than most, self-levels beautifully, and the brush makes application so smooth and easy, I just use a thin base, my color, and two coats of this and I’m out the door in minutes with a professional finish that lasts, which is exactly why it’s been a staple in my kit and why I’d be proud to represent it.

It's ok. It serves its purpose

It dries fast, it’s easy to apply, looks nice. However, it does peel off after a few days, almost like a peel off base coat? Like it reaaally peels!! in huge chunks! Almost the whole nail coat peels off in one chunk, to the point I have to remove it right after this begins or else it will be everywhere. I’m not sure if this is due to the fact I work in food service and am constantly washing my hands, washing dishes, wearing gloves which make my hands perspire. I think it is probably at least partially due to that. If i did not work around water as much i’m sure it wouldnt chip quite as much so soon. Although, I did try it when i was off for a couple days in a row and I still experienced chipping on the first day.. just chilling at home. So I’m still not sure what is up with that. I also do not wrap the tip of my nail so maybe that is something else causing some chippage. Who knows. Overall I do really like this top coat because it dries so quickly that it makes me wanna just repaint my nails as soon as they chip off even though it will repeat again lol!

I have terrible nails, thin, chipping, hard to grow. Seche Vive instant gel top coat has helped extend my manicures better than anything else and is helping my nails to grow a bit. Happy so far — and I’ve tried many products.
