Use it every day
Does exactly what it's supposed to do, simply and reliably.I bought this product after giving up on the popular Misto sprayer because it differed from the Misto in two key ways: First, the spray is fine enough, but not so fine, like the Misto's, that the oil is worryingly aerosolized and just suspends in the air -- to be breathed in or settle on an open flame. Second, unlike the Misto, the air in the bottle isn't pressurized (if anything, the pump creates a slight vacuum); that was crucial, because I found that the constantly pressurized environment inside the Misto made olive oil go rancid very quickly (more air pressure means more oxygen available for peroxidation, which means faster rancidity).Incidentally, some reviewers noted occasional jamming of the pump. I think what they were seeing was actually what happens when the intake tube sucks in air rather than oil (i.e. when the level is low and/or you've tilted it too much). The pump doesn't like air. It gets harder to pump so it feels like it's jammed, but if you just return it to a more upright position and pump a couple of times, it's fine. Keep the oil pretty full to avoid the issue altogether.

Works well
I bought another product that was sold in pairs. the first one didn't work at all and the second stopped working all together.I bought this since the internet rated it highly. It dispenses product in a uniform light spray so I can control the amount of product. I bought this for popcorn and I'm going to buy another one for cooking spray. Don't waste your money on cheaper product.

READ the descriptions before buying
So, I have had the glass version of this spray bottle for years. We put olive oil in it and use it for skillets to keep the fat and calorie levels lower when cooking. It works amazing. I just went out and purchased the one with the spots (I think they are supposed to look like olives) so I could have another bottle with sesame oil in it. We do a lot of Asian cooking and I decided I wanted to have the convenience and the calorie control for my sesame oil that I do for my olive oil. When I opened it and realized the "spotted" bottle is plastic I was so disappointed. Of course, this is my error in not reading the description well. However, these two items are together and being reviewed together on the same page. They have the same spray mechanism, so the plastic bottle should work the same as the glass. Cleaning it will not be as easy. I can put the glass one in my dishwasher. The plastic bottle is very thin and I can't imagine that it will not melt and warp in the dishwasher. If I had realized it was plastic I would have spent the extra for the glass bottle. I only took off one star for the cleaning side of things because the sprayers work really well and do not clog at the nozzle. The one other difference I saw was in the tube end of the sprayer. The plastic one is different so I am hoping that doesn't change the function of use. The plastic sprayer is the picture of just the sprayer end. The glass sprayer is the picture in the bottle with olive oil.

Love it most of the time but it's sometimes finicky
I love this oil sprayer when it's working. Every once in awhile (not often at all), it will stop spraying and i have to open it up and fiddle with it. I think the thing that "fixes" it is running my finger under the bottom of the piece that dangles down into the bottle. I also think it helps if you don't let the bottle get lower than 1/3 of the way full. I use mine in an unconventional way, because I restore vintage/antique cast iron and I use it to prevent flash rust during one step of the restoration process. So it is pretty annoying when it stops spraying because when I need to use it I NEED to have it work. In spite of this, I'd still rate it very high because for normal use where you just want to spray a pan for cooking, or use a spray of oil on your lettuce, that type of thing, I think it would be a good addition to your kitchen. If I was buying a new one, I might try the EVO sprayer instead, but this one is about half the price. I will note that I'm not using olive oil in my sprayer (I use canola for my purposes), and I've heard that olive oil clogs these misters more than other oils. If that's true then all bets are off- I don't know how it performs with olive oil in it.

I can't believe it
I have tried numerous spray bottles to spray oil on my food before putting it in the airfryer. None work they only shot out a stream of oil. When I received this product I washed it out with soap and spayed soap through the sprayer. Then I rinsed it out and the sprayer to. I did not empty the rinse water out of the sprayer. I left the clear water in to serve as a primer for the oil. I filled the bottle half full and tried spraying potato wedges. I was amazed when I saw the oil fan out and spray. I still find it hard to believe that this little sprayer was able to spray heavy oil where other heavy duty sprayers just shot out a stream. Highly recommend.

NOT a "Mister" - Pricey
This listing is for several different sprayers. I have the one which has polkadots. This sprayer stands about 8” tall. It does NOT “mist”. It’s a spray/squirt sort of thing. I’m going to try and post a picture. I sprayed a salad plate, with one “squirt” of olive oil, so you can see what what it looks like. The sprayer is not adjustable. It does not show it in the listing pictures, but there is a filter at the bottom of the pump tube. There is absolutely no information included with this item or listed on the box. It does NOT show that it’s BPA free. It does NOT show where is is made, but I can only assume it’s Made in China for just a few pennies. So at the current price of eleven bucks, it’s crazy expensive for what it is.Even having said all of the above. . . in the end. . . it’s OK. I’ve used a “pump sprayer” in the past, which I hated. If you’re ok with this not really being a “mist” type of sprayer (as I am), then this might work for you.

pumps either stream or mist
Contrary to some of the reviews here you can either get a lot of oil or a fine mist by either squeezing the trigger firmly or by using little short squeezes for a mist.I keep mine in a cabinet over the sink and I put a small paper towel under the sprayer to catch any drips or excess on the bottle. I waited several months to write a review and I have no complaints.
