Simple but thoroughly explained!
I got what I expected! - simple as that.It goes through every areas of knowledge thoroughly and it also links every area of knowledge with as many of ways on knowing as possible!I'm not in any sort of doubt regarding the big amount of help it will give me when I have to write the essay or give the presentation! Thanks Wendy Heydorn!

Useful
I bought this to help me with IB TOK marking - I know quite a bit about knowledge and epistemology, but wanted to make sure I knew what students should know. I thought it was clear, well set out, thoughtful and engaging at the right level for students. There are one or two oversimplifications that I thought were unnecessary but this didn't overwhelm the positive aspects (and I think that they lie in the syllabus rather than the book).I lent the book to my daughter who was doing an EPQ in a fairly philosophical area of physics. She found the introduction, and the sections on knowledge frameworks in maths and physics useful, and commented, 'It assumes that I don't know anything but that I'm intelligent. All the other things I've found either assume I'm stupid or that I already know what I'm talking about.'So for us, this book has been a good buy. It's also a lot cheaper than other IB TOK books.
