Excellent humidifier for household use
As a tropical plant owner / collector, I was inundated by plants in my office-turned-greenroom to the point of it being difficult to work in. I was also becoming increasingly frustrated with refilling my 6L humidifier twice daily with weekly scrubs. Talk about stress when you've spent $400 on a rare aroid and you forget to fill the humidifier for the night! Anyway, after much research, finally purchasing this inline humidifier, and a lengthy planning and setup process, I'm very pleased to report the satisfactory quality and functionality of this humidifier. My setup includes an 18L per hour 5-stage R/O filter under our bathroom sink which runs a steady stream of filtered water to the humidifier from many twists and turns of 1/4" piping. The overflow tube runs back the same way to share an overflow line with the R/O filter to the sink drain. Once things were plugged in and flowing, it took about 5 minutes of a steady water flow into the humidifier for it to start automatically. It's been running constantly for three days since. I first installed this in our hallway and ran it for about an hour, but the mist flowed out towards the opposite wall to then build up condensation to the point of dripping. I have to paint over that unsightly stain now. I then moved the installation to our dining room with much better results with no water build up on the ceiling, floor, or nearby fixtures. The build quality of the humidifier is decent. The plastic seems somewhat thin in places, but that lends to it being lighter and able to be easily mounted with two anchored screws while supporting the few liters of water in its reservoir. For living on the wall, it is perfectly good quality. It's also not the prettiest thing and doesn't "go" with our mid-century modern decor, but it certainly isn't as atrocious as the other inline industrial humidifiers on the market. In our 1400 sq ft Chicago apartment during a particularly brutal cold snap and drafty windows, constantly running, this humidifier has steadily raised our average humidity from 18% to around 45% with minor daily fluctuations. We seem to be reaching a plateau at the high 40's. There is a noticeable difference in air quality, so overall I'm very happy and would definitely recommend this setup to other plant collectors out there.Link to R/O filter: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F71QR5L/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Perfect for a walk-in cigar humidor if used with an RO System
So far so good. It has been a month since I got this humidifier installed in my walk-in cigar humidor. I have been using gallons of distilled water for years. Trust me, it’s back breaking work hauling gallons of distilled water every week to two stores. We went through about 24 to 28 gallons every week depending on the weather. If you use a right combination of reverse osmosis system with this humidifier, it works amazing! No white residue, no water spots on product. A lot of companies in the cigar industry are ripping people off by putting their labels on the same exact humidifier, a 4 stage reverse osmosis system and charging triple the price! Do your research and you won’t be dissatisfied.

I am sold
I work for an Orchestra which has $1000's of musical equipment. The Issue in my short tenure was the Piano storage room with radiator heat and even coming close to 40% humidity. There were days of 18% and without replacing the roof top Air handler with something more efficient and able to humidify, I gave this a shot, with the ink bird and the inline filter. I am absolutely floored at how this is easily reaching 47% in no time. The unit is cheap, very cheap, plastic and I would most definitely hook up the overflow/ drain line due to the overflow could stick and you will be flooded when you come in the next day. I just placed an order for one more for our Harp room. Under $400 in total parts and all the hose and fittings come with the unit.

Clogs furnace filters
When I first opened the package I was happy, installed the unit with no issues. Crank that on and the mist flow! This thing pushes out loads and loads of water!Within a day my fireplace mantle which is about 8 ft away was covered in water, causing the wood to buckle, within a day or two my furnace started making crazy noises. Turns out it was the air filter sucking super hard making crazy jet noises! So I replaced the filter on 1-9-2022, by 1-11-2022 the filter was clogged again with a white powdery residue and needed to be changed again! Whatever this white powder that the humidifier emits is not good! I will have to return the unit, as I cannot change the furnace filter every two or three days. The humidity control on the unit itself is way off, I purchased separate hygrometers to verify. Overall this is probably great for a commercial only setting with no furnace or air filters involved

Humidity with less mess!
Really effective in my garden. I have a small round squatty one with a controller that wasn’t providing enough humidity for my indoor Gardenia garden. I bought this one to supplement it. Worked so well I unhooked that messy little thing and this one is getting the job done. No more mess and no more tripping over the old one! Super happy so far
