Gets pretty hot
This was shipped well and undamaged. The quality of the plastic is what you would expect for the price. It’s easy to use and the design seems well thought out. It does work well. I use it mainly for removing fiberglass panels from classic Corvettes when I don’t have access to plug for my other heat gun. It gets hot and stays hot. It seems to work for a long time and I haven’t seen it drain the battery anymore than I would expect. I would recommend it.

Don’t buy this
The media could not be loaded. I’m sorry, but I have to write this. I got it to heat shrink heavier duty plastic for windows. The old hairdryer trick wasn’t powerful enough. This heat gun didn’t do anything to the window plastic, it has NO pressure coming out of the end. I was using a fully charged OEM Milwaukee M18 battery, and tried the different end attachments, but no joy. After 4 minutes of use, it was smoking like it was going to burst into flames. See my video. Please find something else.

Good for Small Jobs
This is a nice, portable heat gun. And because I already have the Milwaukee batteries getting this tool just made sense. It gets fairly hot, but uses up the battery quickly. It probably wouldn't be so great for removing a lot of paint, but for little jobs, it is more than enough. I use it mainly for shrink tubing on motorcycle wiring, so I don't need the high heat so much as the freedom from a cord. Would be nice if it had a cool down setting like some higher end guns. I believe that not having one will shorten its life span.

A good product at a good price
I am accustomed to tools being sold without the battery as is now often the case. That is for all those people like me who already have compatible batteries and do not want to pay the added cost for something we don’t need.I got this for general use as now and then I need a heat gun. I might need one for shrink wrap, but more likely for installing or removing heat-sensitive adhesives. I suspect that I may need it in the future when I am working with epoxy resins. None of my needs involve much.If I let the gun heat up fully, it is hot! But that takes time and battery charge. Trading out batteries can be a headache whenever I must continue to work for longer than the charge of the first battery. But, the gun gets the job done as well as I could expect it to and is quite convenient being cordless.

A moderately performing heat gun
I needed a heat gun to do shrink wrap for wiring at an isolated location where electricity was not readily available so this KUWZTY Heat Gun looked like a wise choice. I was wrong.First of all why would you sell something without the battery included? It's like selling a new car without an engine. So now I had to go out and buy a battery which cost more than the heat gun in order to operate it. Regardless I bought the battery and took it to my isolated location to use it.The battery lasted no time as the heat gun rapidly used up the battery power. It did work on shrink wrapping but it doesn't get hot enough quick enough for other extensive uses. One safety issue that I had was after using it for a few minutes I stopped and laid it down and it started smoking. I notice, unlike other heat guns, there is no cooling fan session to reduce the heat after use. It just stops and the heat caused it to smoke. I'm a bit concerned about the fire safety of this heat gun. I don't need to use it and set it down some place and briefly walk away to only have the gun catch on fire and burn the place down.Overall, I would not recommend this unit for anything large and only small quick jobs. Be sure to keep an eye on the heating unit after use.
