The copper washers / gaskets in this set are all well-polished, with a smooth surface and no asperities anywhere. Great gamut of sizes, wish I had these every time I found a badly corroded washer on replacing water taps, water lines or for the brake lines in my car. Corrosion takes its toll on such gaskets over time, and when in need these hopefully will save me the time and gas for a trip to the hardware store, and it wasn’t rare that I could not find the size I needed at the store.
