Vanilla Bay Women's Strapless Full Length Maxi Dress with Pockets

I love it! I am 5'4 and 135 pounds, 32C (On a good day) so I got a size medium. I'll probably have to pull the top up from time to time but it fits nice and loose everywhere else. Turquoise color is not super see through, might want to avoid dark underwear though. The length is def maxi length without being ridiculously long.I haven't washed yet so can't say if it shrinks or washes well. I generally don't dry my cotton garments more than a few minutes in the dryer anyway to avoid any shrinkage.(Say hi to my lazy pup in the background!)

I LOVE these.~~I saw this dress a few years ago on a 'celebrity' website, same Vanilla Bay dress and it was pricey, not like Amazon, and I really wanted it! I ordered the dark grey from Amazon and I absolutely LOVE it!I am 5'7", size 10-12 pants, 34F, 30" waist, 40" hips, wear a large to x-large shirt. I ordered the large and the length is fabulous, but I like my maxi's long, and this is long- have to wear wedge's. It has a LOT of stretch and I am thinking of ordering a medium next time to see how that fits. But my gosh, it feels so good on! Everyone seems to say it shows all the lumps and bumps but I did not think so. I thought it was forgiving- PLUS it never wrinkles!!!I am not a fan of rusching, but this bit in the upper tummy and chest area works-the back is smooth not gathered (if they put some in the back area I bet more women would feel comfortable wearing this). I will LIVE in these during the summer. Heat and me do not agree, so the more comfortable the better. The pockets are GREAT!I found the cutest shrugs, and I am wearing it with the dress in pictures. The shrug is fab and only 8 bucks on Amazon- now a shrug is needed for me and this dress!*** I DID order the black in size medium. IT was quite a bit tighter in the chest and a few inches shorter. I can see why some women say this shows bulges- maybe the size was too small?~The medium had less rusching in the top- it looked spread out in a bad way! PLUS armpit fat- ha!- was over the sides, not a lot, but enough that I did not like the look. The length hit me right at the top of my foot arch, and I like it grazing the floor. The pockets were not as comfy as my size large.~I think this dress comes down to sizing whether SOME women like it or not. I could have kept the medium and worn it, but I probably would have worn it once, and I am at a point where I will not keep stuff I kind of like, or kind of fits- I am too old and tired (; I am 51 my measurements are all exposed, above, on my first review. I did try on with a shrug (I now own 5 !) and it still did not make a difference. Went back two minutes after it came off and ordered a large!

I love this dress! I'm in a wheelchair and most the time maxi dresses are way too short or way long on me where I would run it over. This was the perfect size and length! I am 5"4 and 115 and a small fit perfect. I am all about comfort and this was perfect plus it is adorable! I love the pockets but the so not work for my phone (when sitting in my chair most pockets don't work) and it just dumped my phone out on the concrete. My ID did fit well in the pockets but I would not trust them pushing myself around.Overall I love this dress and plan on buying more in a different color/print.I do have wedges on in the picture so with flats it was just about covering my toes.

I'm 5'2", 137 lbs, and jusst had a baby, so my belly is still quite large. This dress is very flattering on my lumpy post baby figure. It gives me shape by drawing in under the breast while flaring out at the right point to minimize my ample after-baby stomach. It is extremely cool and comfortable but not sheer. I really like the way the top fits tight enough to stay up well but without giving any weird armpit lumps. It seems like it will be quite easy to nurse in. I am very pleased and will probably buy another. The only sad thing is that it is 5" past my feet, so I am popping it in the wash to see if I can shrink it and hopefully avoid hemming it.***Edit*** I washed the dress on hot and dried it on hot, and now it just goes to the ground (with bare feet). I think I am not going to hem it because I wanted it to be quite long, and it may shrink a little more. I'm so pleased that in addition to the charcoal, I ordered the olive and red wine.

I loooooveeee it!!!! Like the other review, I was hoping to get print that is "even/ linged up " on the top, that is why I chose OLIVE color. If you scroll through colors you will see that design is ligning up only in a picture of olive dress. So I was hoping that I'd get lucky to receive a dress just like in picture !!! And I didn't :) however, as soon as I tried a dress on I fell in love with it and I didn't think about design anymore! I was planning on returning dress if design is not perfect but once you put a dress on it really doesn't matter. I ordered SMALL and it fits perfect- I am 5'6" and 134 lbs, 36 c cup. I got many compliments today and dress is very comfy! I wore it to work with a shrug on top! Also, olive color looks amazing on dark or tanned skin- I strongly recommend it!!!

So I'm on the fence about this dress. It fits great, is slimming, and long ((I'm 5'5))) and it touched the ground. I order a Large and I'm a D cup, weigh 174lbs. The dress fits amazing it's the pattern that's a problem. No one noticed but me but that's how us women are:) so the pattern doesn't line up. When you look in the mirror you want to slide dress where it the pattern looks even but then the pockets on the dress aren't lined up correctly. It's funny because you can't see the pattern problem in the pictures. I gave it 4 stars because it's a nice dress but if the pattern thing annoys you I would not buy it. I wore it to a graduation:) I will wear it again:)
