Viavito Pvc Equipment Floor Mat

Bought this primarily to go under a bike trainer. I tend to "puddle" when riding indoors. This mat is anything ~but~ waterproof! Sweat does pool some, but soaks up like a sponge such that hours later the surface appears dry until you step on it and sweat comes right back to the surface. Even went through to the carpet in a few places. The surface is also surprisingly easy to tear - again making it less than ideal for equipment with rigid feet, or stepping onto with bike shoes+cleats.2 stars instead of 1 because, for the price, it works well to have a large padded area protecting the carpet during core work, stretching, and body weight work (not yoga, though, as it gets slippery when wet). I'll keep it, but need to buy another mat for the bike!

I didn’t know what to expect from the mat as it’s very hard to tell by the picture alone. I went for the larger size 200cm and I’m glad I did as it’s absolutely perfect. I needed a mat to workout and jump on; we are on a second floor and I was only too aware of the neighbours downstairs and the wooden floor in the living room. This mat cushions most of the noise and it’s really brilliant for working out on. It does not slip on the wooden floor.However it is quite slippy itself- for example when stretching in downward dog position the hands will slide quite a lot. Definitely not recommended for yoga for exercises that require non slip surface. Shoes are fine and do not slip. Overall I’m extremely happy with the purchase and give it 4.5 stars. Would buy again.

The mat should have arrived on the 24th December but didn't arrive until the 28th. The late delivery date didn't really bother me as I didn't expect it before Christmas in any event and the delivery dates are only punched out automatically by built in coding.I bought this to put under a new rowing machine that I ordered and haven't got yet, but the mat seems fit for purpose. It's quite firm with a hard surface that is not too hard to use as an exercise mat but hard enough to stand the rigours and vigour's of a rowing machine sat on it. Some reports mention that it is not absorbent enough to soak up excess perspiration but again not a problem to me as I don't intend to flog myself into the ground when rowing.It's supposed to be a pleasure working out not some masochistic beasting of oneself.

Used the mat quite a few times now - it seems thick enough to protect our wooden floor and it's very easy to wipe clean after a good cross trainer session. I bought the larger size and whilst it wasn't really necessary i like the idea of having the extra width and length to catch dripping water and sweat. It also gives me an area to stretch out as well without standing on my wooden floor. It came really fast and was well packed.

I needed a big mat to do DVD lounge exercises and save the carpet. This is absolutely ideal. Covers a wide area so not confined to just left/right or back/forward - can do all exercises on it. Bit slippery in socks - so bare feet better. Other large mats were £99!Very happy with quality, size and especially price.

So far so good. Covers a large area, sticks firmly to the floor (tried on marble and hard wood floors) and is very comfortable. I use it as an exercise mat for kettlebells, jump rope and bodyweight workouts. It also provides a soundproofing effect so as to not disturb the downstairs neighbors. Very satisfied so far with overall comfort and convenience. Hope it also proves durable and lasts for a long time.

I bought this for doing HIIT Workouts on a carpeted floor. The mat protects the carpet perfectly and significantly reduces the noise from jumping. It's thick and comfortable enough for doing workouts with or without shoes. It moves minimally , but without interfering with the workout.I vented the room well in the first day after unpacking to let the odour out. This was gone completely after a couple of days.

Searched for a while and landed on this one. Arrived promptly and immediately unrolled and put into place. We've since being doing HIIT exercises on this mat and it cushions from exercises well and hasn't slipped once. I went for the larger size so I had room to move around on it. So far very impressed.
