SUIZAN GARDENING Japanese Sickle Nejiri Gama Hoe

We bought two of the Nejiri gama within a week of each other. The other one (black handle) has a better angle than this one. The angle on this one is too sharp for my wrist. (angled toward your hand). Still very useable, very handy tool, plus the price is great. After using this tool for the last couple weeks, I am very pleased. It isn't meant for heavy duty work (I use a shovel and pry bar for the heavy stuff) but it is very efficient at clearing my sand pathways and the edges of my gardens.

Love this little tool. It works well around plants your weeding. You have to keep it sharp. but as long as it is sharp it's a weed busting tool.!

works so well I bought two so I can leave them laying in different parts of the garden for convenience sake.

I have used much better ones of these. the handle is too short, and after about a month the blade broke off... if I had a welder I could fix it... now I just have a metal rod attached to a wooden handle. Not exactly what I was hoping for...

By far, my favorite garden hand tool.
