GR8 first season, Try it out its a steal at its price.
Unforgettable - is in the same story-line genre as Fringe, but as its a spin-off copy-cat TV Show, it has its limitations. The Story-Line is great, so you get a GREAT deal for £8.99 getting a complete first season. Hours of enjoyable family/ suspense TV.Typical of all spin-off shows from USA, this series fell foul of TV ratings, it just didn't just make the mustard for the ratings people - so like many "spin-off" shows it was AXED after its first season of airing! Indoing so joined the list of many other GREAT TV-series that have gone this way, like Revolution, Fire-Fly etc it bit the dust!BUT, viewers complained... and the show was picked up by another network, and several years after the first season was cancelled, a NEW production produced Season 2.Season 2 has all the same characters, same story-lines, but somehow this second season just didn't work out. We got hooked on the 1st Season, then waited for a couple of years to get the 2nd season only to be disappointed. It wasn't just quit right. It was slow and long drawn out plots made us switch off... sad to say.Overall - the 1st season is enjoyable, it will get you motivated to watch the 2nd season - but the 2nd season will let you down, and you will know why the first season was cancelled.PROS::+ Good storyline+ there is a second follow on season to watch...CONS::- Show was cancelled after 1st season by the Network due to ratings- 2nd series was a bit of a yawn...STAR RATING::* GOOD immersive story-lines* interesting plots* Sort of in the vein of FRINGE + NCIS* Family watchable.

Unforgettable...for all the wrong reasons.
This is a procedural crime show with a couple of twists -1) She has hyperthymesia, a rare medical condition that gives her the ability to visually remember everything she has seen or heard. This is very well handled and the special effects of how and when she remembers things is really clever (although she is able to zoom in on objects as though she has a super zoom vision - thats not so great)2) She is really unlikeable. I watched the whole 22 episodes and I hated her in every show. She is often rude, often argues with people for no reason, never gives anyone the benefit of the doubt, hardly ever smiles, she does not mind using her 'gift' to cheat at cards and take other peoples money, she constantly talks over people, she spends most of the show frowning, she goes out of her way to wind people up and she is especially unhelpful to the others detectives in her team.I know she loves her mum and is fuelled by the death of her sister and the solving of her murder, but she is so unlikable - Maybe this was the intention of the show and if it was it was a bold and unusual decision.I have seen a lot of cop shows done much, much better (eg Life, White Collar, Castle, The Mentalist, Monk, Psych) and this show borrows a lot from each one - but very not well. She spent the first 4 episodes wearing the same vest top and jeans - whilst everyone else wore a suit/coat etc - didn't she have any other clothes?I found that the chemistry between the various team members esp Poppy Montgomery and Dylan Walsh was poor and they did not seem to gel especially when compared to the fantastic team chemistry like that in Castle or The Mentalist. The only thing that kept me watching was looking forward to the Memory sequences (which is why it gets 3 stars and not 1).Not a bad show by any means - but only average and the lead - Poppy Montgomery - was (for me) not the right person.

POPPY - WOW!
Sorry to put such a corny title up there (Why do we have to, Amazon?), but boy is Poppy a worthwhile watch! I haven't seen all the eps yet, but those that I have (6) have all been good, with a touch of originality. The casting is good with the cops not being the usual guys and girls. Dylan Walsh is a good hero, but for me, Poppy carries it with no trouble at all. I suspect she spent hours in the gym before filming and it's paid off. Recomended for cop show fans and those after something a little bit different. (Did I go on too much about the lead actress?)

Poppy Montgomery Shines. This series rivals Without A Trace
I bought this because I was very impressed with the performance of Poppy Montgomery over the highly sucessful series "Without A Trace". I wasn't disappointed either, as this series is equally well acted and each episode is very engaging. If you like the 'who done its' then this is for you. It is a highly original, far from a run-of-the-mill, mystery drama. Each show in the series stands alone as a classic mystery. I found it highly entertaining and great value for money. Great value for money and a 9/10 all round.
