I’m picky about keeping my four-year-old glass-top electric range immaculate. Recently, my son-in-law, who’s accustomed to cooking on a gas range, lowered the temp on my stove to prevent a pan from boiling over. Not realizing that electric burners don’t cool down immediately, he didn’t move the pan, and it boiled over big time. My usual range-cleaning arsenal (Barkeeper’s Friend, Dawn, Non-Scratch Scotch-Brite, and elbow grease} didn’t touch the burned-on mess. I’d heard somewhere that a razor blade might work. I searched Amazon for “razor blade cooktop,” read the reviews, and ordered this scraper. It worked like a charm, taking off all the gunk and leaving no scratches. I then used it on the hard-water mineral deposits around my kitchen faucet with similarly excellent results. Clearly, careful thought went into the design of this little gem: It fits comfortably in my hand, it’s blade cover retracts (no lid to lose), and its blades are easy and safe to change. Plus, because the blades are inserted from the side and then held firmly by a finger-tightened screw, I found I could move the blade off-center to the left or right a bit, helping me reach the tight spaces around the faucet. Kudos to the Werxrte engineers! This is a very handy tool.

The mechanism for changing the blades is way more effort than it should be.Skip these and buy the Titan's instead on amazon.I ordered both at the same time and the Titan comes with 2 pieces, a standard one and a long neck one, both incredibly easy to change the blades on and both very easy and sturdy to use.

This scraper was used to replace the flimsy product that came with our GE Cafe glass top cooktop. It eventually broke down where the razor blade started slipping inside the housing making it impossible to use. This product positively locks the blade with a thumb screw. To protect the blade when not in use by sliding a shield up from inside the housing. This is more efficient than retracting the blade itself which is done in a majority of scrapers. The sliding guard also scrapes off any debris on the blade without having to wipe it by hand. And it'a all made in Michigan. I comes with five blades.

I had old stickers on my back window of my vehicle and was able to scrape them off with this without any spray or anything. Most came off extremely smoothly but all came off with ease with this

I could not slide into the open position. My husband was able to open once, but with difficulty. The next time he tried to get it open, it wouldn't budge. Can't use the blade unless it slides open, and this one didn't. I ended up tossing it.

These items have my stovetop clean and shining like new!I feel safe using the scraper.love the extra blades!

I don't know how I managed 20 years married without this tool. It cleans every stuck on stain on my counters etc without scrubbing. It also doesn't scratch! It's a must have for any home.

Much better to hold and use than other designs really like it

Works works works can't believe a design as simple as this was able to remove all hard stuck items on my glass stove. Try this first before buying anything else
