More Chinese garbage.
Too small to use. The screen is extremely small and words cannot be seen, using (close-up) lenses.Another example how Chinese screw-up their own design.More Chinese garbage.Returned.

it looks like a very well-made and solid product
This is the first item I have ever bought through Amazon that simply didn't work. I am returning it. On the surface, it looks like a very well-made and solid product. I left it plug into my computer to charge, per the instructions, all day. Nothing. I did it a second day. Nothing. Very disappointed.

Defective?
I am starting to get worried. Why is it not powering on after a couple hours of charging it?Is it defective?EDIT: Okay so it's night right now and I just noticed when I powered it on that it did work! The problem is that the brightness is so low that I can barely see the screen light. After squinting my eyes for several minutes I was actually able to turn the brightness on through the recorder, but there is no difference because I can still barely see the screen light. Is it defective or is there something I can do to fix it?

Great product. Not easy to use. Hey, I am just tech slow. You may actually like this product. I did --- but found it in need of ease. Take a look at Olympus for simplicity.
