Lightweight easy to put together comfortable and is the right size to get through the door ways in my house. Great to fold up and put in the car with out too much effort and dosnt take up a huge amount of space. Foot plates slip on and off with ease (I take off before folding so no risk of slipping off accidently) easy to push.I had the medium size one and there is plenty of room i tried with additional seat pads but found i didn't really need them unless sitting in for more than a couple of hours.Great value for money highly recommend

This chair is brilliant - absolutely worth the money.FOLDING / SETTING UP - Incredibly easy to set up and fold away for transport, it literally involves clicking two little levers to fold the back down, then pushing the sides together - takes 10 seconds. To set up, push the sides apart and push the handles forward till they click - also takes ten seconds. I always thought wheelchairs were difficult to set up - not this one !SIZE AND WEIGHT - I bought the standard size - perfect for my mother, but would be too small for a large or heavy person (NB there is a larger size). Very sturdy frame. The seat and backrest are fabric (not rigid) but nice and strong, and my mother said the fabric seat was more comfortable than a rigid seat. I am a middle aged woman and I can lift this into the boot of my car without difficulty, but an elderly person might find it too heavy.FOOT RESTS - can be swung completely out of the way to make it easy to get in and out. Can also be removed very easily for transport (just click the little lever)BRAKES - cable brake like a bicycle brake so you can control the chair on slopes. You can also apply brakes in parking mode, if you want to let go of the chair - push the brake levers down firmly (NB they are very stiff to start with, first time I thought I was going to snap the levers but they soon loosened up). The brakes are pretty good - I tested them by parking the chair on a steep slope then getting in and outDELIVERY - the chair was delivered next day, despite being on standard 7 day delivery. I also contacted the seller to ask a question and they were very helpfulI would absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants an easy to transport chair. Five stars

I purchased Days Escape Wheelchair, Lite Aluminium, Lightweight with Folding Frame, Mobility Aids, Comfortable Travel Chair with Removable Footrests and received a wrong one, however, seller quickly responded and arranged the swap. The right wheelchair arrived very quickly (before the wrong was picked up), however it was missing seatbelt. Again seller responded quickly and apologised as no seatbelt was in stock and offered me partial refund instead, which was okay and I purchased the seatbelt seperately on amazon. The wheelchair is very light, steady and it fits in my car as it is foldable. Will do the job and I recommend it! Great product!

This wheelchair was bought as the one we have is too heavy to keep getting in and out of the car (NHS one, sturdy) and we needed a lighter one. The user is quite small, and luckily we had the opportunity to try the standard size first. A good value wheelchair, very light, and easy getting in and out of the car, but she felt the standard size was too tight/restrictive for her. Upon measuring our old NHS wheelchair the wide wheelchair (rather than standard) was a little wider than the NHS one, but it was a comfortable fit (we push mum's coat and oxgyen tubes down either side of her). A great wheelchair, fairly sturdy, and just opened it up from the box, other than putting the footplates on, it was good to go. Mum loves it, got to choose her favourite colour, and it saves my back. We just use it at the weekend for shopping trips, so not for long periods of time. We also use a padded cushion, and I had to buy a clip on bag for the back. I would recommend this, but do measure the sizes first.

Compact and easy to fold up to put in the car or travel with. Needed a light-weight wheelchair urgently a few months back after my husband injured himself. I was able to get this from the house, into a taxi and to the hospital with ease. Fast and efficient delivery. No real setup necessary, just unfold and click in to place. Due to its compact design with no sticky-outy wheels this wheelchair was ideal for getting in and out of smaller spaces like disabled toilets in elevators. It just means that this wheelchair requires someone to push the "patient" rather than they wheel themselves about. Very good value for money. Feels sturdy enough for travel (even though we only used it for a short period of time while hubby recovered from injuries). I had no issues pushing him around. Brake locks are secure and he was able to push himself out of the seat without it ever moving backwards. It was a snug fit tho ... if hubby was any chunkier I think he would have struggled to fit.

What a great buy! So we'll made, Instructions were very easy to follow and understand! Very light, very sturdy, extremely comfortable , I would advise purchasing a cushion to go on the seat for added comfort & a small wheelchair bag for the back. This chair feels great and looks superb! If I could give it 10 stars I would!The chair is extremely easy to fold and put in the car for transport and just as easy to remove from my car and open out. Everything on this chair is so simple to adjust! I'm certain this chair has been designed by someone that is confined to a chair, it's just perfect!Claiming the VAT relief was easy enough, a quick email to Amazon with a screenshot of a completed HM customs VAT relief form and they refunded the VAT within 24hrs to my bank card.The Amazon delivery driver could see the box contained a wheelchair and delivered it to my choice of room inside of my house. Well done Amazon!If you are looking for a wheelchair, (I've searched dozens, tried and returned several) For the price, this is the one to buy!
