Owned for years
I've own this tool for awhile now. I've used it mainly for working on a 2004 ford expedition. I bought this a year after HFT released it. I went online to look at the number, because I just bought the skil pwrcore12. I notice HFT nolonger have it listed and probably due to them expanding Bauer and Hercules lines which is smart. They really do need to shrink down the brands they have. They have too many. I will say if you are trying to compare this to Milwaukee or dewalt don't. Too many fanboys do this, because of their hate towards hft tools. If you're not working for nascar, indy, or the nhra this tool is fine for your needs. I'm sure these will be on the market now that they're being phased out.The model has no light or lock.

Well built great value
Fantastic! I do not believe the few bad reviews on here. I get it, people are brand loyal. Let me tell you this thing is impressive. Very well built. Solid. It's mostly metal with rubber grips. Weighs about the same as my air ratchet. Lots of torque. Very smooth power delivery. It has a variable speed trigger/switch that let's you get the tightness just right. Especially when you want to lightly snug bolts down. It's easy to get it just right on the first try. Battery lasts forever. Was not expecting that. I do a lot of engine work on the side. I have almost every tool known to man. I have lots of different brands as well. First time owning an Earthquake. Very impresses. I picked mine up at Harbor Freight. But I had to leave a review to help set things straight. Awesome tool!

Do not buy without an extended warranty.if at all.
Do not buy this tool without an extended warranty. I purchased a wrench from harbor tools in Sept 2017. However it had very little use maybe 5 min of run time. Then in Feb of 2018 I used it to change a water pump on a truck. The unit started to run intermittently. At this point it had maybe 15 minutes of run time. Harbor tools refused to replace or exchange because it was outside of the warranty time. It did work well for a very short period of time. At this point I am calling mine DOA.

Fantastic for budget shoppers
Like other reviewers, I bought this at Harbor Freight and not on Amazon. It's actually a great tool for me, despite what others have said. I do a good bit of automotive side work (couple times a week, sometimes more), and this tool has lasted through many jobs, including a transmission replacement, a timing belt, a cylinder head removal/teardown, and more, all on ONE charge. It finally ran out of juice at the very end of the transmission job, meaning I had to charge it for maybe the 3rd time since beginning to use it a couple months ago. I can't speak on the exact torque rating, but it's been just fine for me. You can actually get this ratchet at a better price walking into Harbor Freight, and even more so with a coupon which they have available all the time, so go buy it in the store. My two cents: great tool for the avid DIY-er. If you turn wrenches for a living, you can justify spending a lot more for a different brand. But if you want something to get the job done without having to make monthly payments, buy this ratchet.

Was surprised
Have 1 of these at my job and am seriously considering buying 1 for my own toolbox at home despite all my power tools being makita. I'm always very skeptical of harbor freight power tools but I've been really impressed with this.I think to appreciate this tool you need to have realistic expectations. Its an electric ratchet, not an impact gun and I use it as such. Its not going to break seized or highly torqued bolts.I use it on light to semi medium jobs as a convenient tool rather than having to ratchet everything by hand. Using it for such jobs gets high marks by me. Have had it for a year now and haven't had any issues with mine

Tough
Got one at HF a year ago, bought an extra battery at the same time. I use it 3 or 4 days a week beating the every loving crud out of it, dropped it a few times off the lift and used it as a hammer a few times, it still works great. It's build well and my only complaint is the battery loses connection every now and then but just slap it and it reseats. You can really bear down on it to break the bolt before you run it out no problem. If mine breaks I will definitely go buy another, everyone that complains either got a bad unit or is just a hater, I have nothing but respect for this tough little cheap guy.

A must have tool if your hand hurt and can't fit your hands in tight places
What every truck or tool box needs. I too bought mine at harbor freight and got a two year warranty for under 120 on black Friday. It more expensive on Amazon because it's shipped to someone that doesn't live near a retail store. If this tool is used properly it Should last a long time. Like use a breaker or extended wrenches to loosen the hardware . Keep it clean and take care of it. Enjoy this hand saver. I have 4 autos and a dumptruck and this will be in my bag for now on.
