Wasted 50$ bucks
Ok, so this is a piece of crap. It seemed to work ok for the first couple weeks (readings were all over the place but if I took 3 in succession I could get an idea that kinda correlated with the other ways that I measure ketones, via blood and urine.) However, it began to give increasingly erratic readings and will now say I’m at zero when the other methods (plus my own feeling / carb consumption says otherwise. Today, I did 3 readings in immediate succession and got vastly different numbers from 0-13 which is absurd. It’s basically a magic 8 ball at that point. I was hoping this would be a reliable method that meant I could avoid a finger prick but it’s not. I’m bummed that I wasted money and I hope you read this review and can avoid the same mistake.
