It is a perfect fit, just what it should be. As with all impellers, time will tell how good it really is. I've had them go out in 1 season and I have one that hasn't been changed in over 20 years and still works great. So I'll see how long this one lasts. Remember to measure the shaft it goes on, these small Mercs used 2 different sizes, in fact the one I replaced was the wrong size for this motor.
