Filipino (Tagalog)...In 60 Minutes

I listen to this CD while in the car and also on my Ipod when I'm working around the house. Each word or phrase is repeated several times, not too quickly, allowing time for the student to "repeat". The slim booklet contains each word/phrase in English, Tagalog and the phonetic pronunciation with stress marks. I carry this around with me and use it to review and quiz myself whenever I have a few minutes but can't listen to the audio. This is very good for the absolute beginner in Tagalog. I wish Berlitz had a next level, beginner Tagalog audio course, with dialogues.

The content seems ok for me as a novice, but it is like an old casette tape. It should have been divided into many short tracks for instant rewind for repeating words.

I managed to pick up a few pieces of simple vocabulary but more complex phrases were not broken down into manageable segments, so it was impossible to decipher what was being said in order to repeat it. Really not worth the time. There are much better offerings.

1単語あるいは、１フレーズずつ、英語→タガログ語の構成になっていてリピートして学習する仕組みになっているので使いやすいです。全部聞いても、練習しても1時間なので習慣づけて聞くようにすると効果的です。
