Transformers Legacy United Deluxe Class G1 Universe Autobot Gears, 5.5-inch Converting Action Figure, 8+ Years

Who would have thought that this surly, obscure Autobot rated such an outstanding figure? He's about as perfect as he can get for his size! Great colors and deco, chunky and adorable truck mode, and in bot mode he's a surly little Juggernaut (ok, maybe not little, the dude's probably 14 feet). He even has a surprisingly beefy little SMG that suits him nicely. He looks perfect next to Brawn, Cliff, Bee and Huffer! Now, are we ever gonna get an update of poor Windcharger so we can finally have all six wave 1 Minibots?

Gears is fantastic. He's sturdy and fun to transformer. Great addition to my collection

He has great articulation, movement in every joint. Great paint job. He could have come with one more accessory or at least a better accessory to what he already has, he is slightly taller than a core class transformer but he has the engineering of a deluxe. It still would have been nice if to compensate for his size they gave him some other accessory than his tiny blaster. Super fun transformation, 12 easy steps and I find myself doing it again and again.

Gears. It has that perfect transformers feel to it … that sweet spot between overly simplistic and unnecessarily complicated, packed into a small solid package that is a joy to transform back and forth between modes. Gears is the ultimate fidget toy. A must own.

I had the original toy as a kid. He wasn’t featured much in the original cartoon but had a memorable appearance in Issue #3 of the comic. I love the modern take on the character. This was so well done. When I saw this had been released, it made me smile, as someone had obviously put some thought into this one. To whoever designed this: great job. You’ve made an old Transformers fan happy.

This guy is a great update to the OG G1 toy. This is a nice way to introduce a new Minibot. Although due to the size and shape of the head, it limits how it turns to the left and right. Nice articulation.

Looks great vehicle mode and robot mode. Easy but fun transformation. Tight enough joints. Perfect transformer.

Figure feels great in hand. It's a solid block with great articulation.
