Benton Collection 42" White Victorian Cottage Style Knoxville Bathroom Sink Vanity # GD-1509W-42

Looks really nice and arrived ready to be installed. My only concern is after a month of using it part of the wood started to bubble from water dripping.

I'll admit that I was nervous about ordering something this large & expensive from a vendor I didn't know. I feared it would arrive damaged (it didn't!) and feared it might be poor quality (I'm picky and it's WONDERFUL quality!!) This vanity could not be more lovely! I'm over the moon delighted with it! And the delivery driver who brought it was incredibly gracious & helpful. He even opened the packaging for me so I could be sure it hadn't been damaged before I signed for it (the box had torn in 2 places.) He even used his forklift/dolly to get it close to the house instead of just leaving it on the curb.It comes as a single unit, meaning the vanity top isn't separate, or easily removed. It arrives encased in styrofoam, inside a cardboard box, & on a wooden pallet with plastic straps. The entire thing weighs about 300 lbs, but the weight of the actual vanity you'd carry into the house would come to less than that.1. My neighbors helped unpack it in the front yard, leaving the packaging & pallet behind.2. The drawers come out! There's a drawer glide on each side of the drawers. You just put a hand on each side, & lift up this tab/lever in the drawer glide--both sides at the same time--and the drawer will glide right out. So we brought the drawers in separately, which also cut the weight down a bit.3. I ordered the backsplash for it (that costs extra) and it came in the same large box, but packaged separately in what appears to be a plywood box custom made for it! I haven't opened that yet. The backspash is quite heavy--and separate from the rest--so again, that would cut down on the 300 lb initial weight from the shipper.Two of my neighbors (men in their late 50's) carried it up 5 steps & into the house for me. They made it look pretty straightforward, and they didn't need to catch their breath afterwards or anything.The hardware is like pewter--it's pewter grey with black accents, and then the crystal knobs. The top is white marble with light grey streaks & swirls...and the marble top has a lovely edge detail--rounded--as it would be on an actual antique vanity. The back is a 90 degree straight edge, of course--to push up against a wall--but the front and both sides have rounded edges. Now I see why they don't sell a side-splash for it. I will be installing it in a corner, with the side edge against a wall, so it would work that way or just free standing with only a wall at the back of it. I'm going to pair it with a black & white hex tile floor, and comparing it to the flooring sample, I know it'll be gorgeous with it! It picks up the black highlights in the scrolly/filagree pewter hardware. My mirror & wallpaper will be light pink, and that'll be nice with the grey as well. I just went and looked again, and there's actually a bit of tan in the grey so that just expands your options as to the colors that would look good with it--especially since most of the top is white!. ;-)So go ahead & order it! You won't be disappointed!

Very nice vanity. The biggest problem is the inside cabinet does not easily fit most of all the cleaners.
