Good product, bad packaging.
This was easy to install and corrected my IR compressor issue. When they shipped the first one, they merely placed it in a manila envelope, no padding, and as you might expect, it was damaged when it arrived. They shipped me another one the next day and put it in a box. But still with no padding. It arrived undamaged. I suspect Amazon buys them in bulk from IR then repackages them for shipment. It's an expensive item to toss around unpadded.

Switch is not good will start compressor them shut off at correct psi but will not turn back on… have to manually turn off then back on then will start

1 of the pressure switches I bought has an air leak. Can't seem to get it to stop.
I wish the 1(of 3) that I bought didn't have an air leak.

OEM I-R. Great quality.
I bought the Ingersoll Rand 23474653 Pressure Switch to replace the failed unit on my Ingersoll Rand 2340L5HD 60 gallon 2-stage compressor. I bought this compressor new in August, 2001. This compressor has been meticulously maintained (oil changes, air filter changes, drained the tank almost daily) and used extensively for 23 years and this is the first problem with it. I went with the OEM pressure switch because the original one lasted 23 years so I know it's great quality. Ingersoll Rand makes excellent products and this hard-used, 23 year-old compressor is proof.

Dont buy, this quit working after two weeks. No way to get in touch with IR and no help from amazon to return. Waste of money.
