Xerostom Gum With Saliactive For Dry Mouth10 Units

The wording and photo on this product are misleading and do not represent what you actual get when in your order. I've bought this gum three times so far this year and each time I have received 2 blister packs containing 10 units, so 20 units in total. Therefore they are 20p each, or 17p if you get your 15% off with Subscribe and Save, which still makes them fairly pricey for a piece of flavourless gum. But, if like me, you're really not a fan of mint/menthol/etc in your gum it is a bit of a god send.I've tried a lot of other things for my dry mouth problems over the years, from sprays to pastels and mouthwashes, etc but this has honestly been the best one for me so far. It starts working almost immediately, but as I get bored of chewing gum I tend to only chew on it for 10-15 minutes or so. That doesn't seem to matter though as the effects seem to last for quite a while after I have gotten rid of it, and I also find that if I sip water or suck on some ice during or just afterwards it really helps to boost my natural saliva production too which feels so much better than any artificial way of combating the dryness.I wish that they were a little cheaper, but at the same time they are a very good product, especially if you take advantage of the Subscribe and Save offer.

I had radiotherapy for tongue cancer and this chewing gum is the only one i can use as i have hardly any saliva, i cant use ordinary chewing gum as my mucus membranes are too sensitive to the mints that are used for flavouring. Its been a god send to me as it enables me to be able to keep my mouth moist while I talk. The only downside is that they only come in boxes of 10 and I cant get them off Amazon unless i have them as an add on which is a pain.

Apparently these are only as good as your normal peppermint chewing gum.My mum suffers with dry mouth because of medication, l was hoping this would do the trick.But no.

Does relieve dry mouth and not much flavour

The gum is good while you are chewing it but after 15 minutes you spit it out and mouth feels dry again .. so it's fine for when you want instant relief and when you're out and about but Tic Tacs are good too

I didn’t find this helped for more than a second or two!

Good but expensive for the amount packaged. The other products such as mouth spray and gel go much further for the price
