Best for salt water. Smooth action. Can’t be beat for the price.
I purchased the KS60 because it has a slightly bigger spool than the KS50. Bigger spool doesn’t just mean more line capacity but also less line twist and looping while allowing longer casting. For the price this reel is pretty hard to beat. I fish mostly fresh water but wanted to try a little salt water fishing without spending a ton of money. Though it is advertised as a fresh or salt water reel, in my opinion it is more suited to salt water as it is too large for the vast majority of fresh water fishing. This reel is a good size for surf fishing or peer fishing and holds a good amount of larger test line. The action is smooth and the rear brake is a nice feature. Is this the end all reel? No, but for $25 it is definitely a champ.

Inexpensive and quality in a great reel with dual drag system.
This inexpensive real is very well made feels nice and tight. Engages immediately when reeling like more expensive equipment. The dual drag system is great for detecting subtle pulls on the line for engaging fully for reeling in your fish. For the price I could not be happier with this heavier reel for my ocean rig.

Haven't used it in action yet but from my experience this is a great reel. I normally use Penn but this seems to be of good quality. The bearings and movement are smooth and it feels similar to the avenger that i use on one of my configurations. Cant wait to put it into action this spring.

Great spinning reel
With 9+1 bearing, it's very smooth. It can be used for both salt and fresh water. Has a brake on it, and it's actually better then most other reels. Great price point!

Not happy at all
Bate caster not working correct, Not happy at all, Plus know way to stop reel from spinning lock on bottom of reel not working.Nice looking reel if you can get the problems fixed could be a nice reel.

Crappy handle system
Handle keeps falling off, and now it finally fell in the lake. Can’t get a contact number to get a new handle.
