This bag is large, but balanced. I love the zipper pocket built into the bottom of the bag that is completely plastic lined for wet shoes, bathing suit or umbrella. (Note that: This bag is not RFID protected, and there is not a cushion built into the front pocket where you could fit an iPad.) This KVZ dowel bag is a close match functionally, but much prettier! The hardware on this bag is gorgeous. For those of us who must carry black on black luggage for travel related work, this is a perfect option. It is a heavy bag, but using the sleeve on the back over a telescoping handle on a suitcase, it stays balanced while rolling and has plenty of room for all the essentials. I actually fit my laptop in a padded cover inside the main compartment of the bag with room to spare for all my other items. There are also luggage straps in the main compartment. It could be a great overnight bag if you can handle carrying it over the shoulder. I'm impressed!

I've always been a Kathy Van Zeeland fan and was really looking forward to this purchase! I had a chance to take it on a trip last month and here's what I found. The bag itself is of high quality and I expect that it will last for years. It functioned well as a carryon on the airplane. It easily held everything I needed (small purse, snacks, scarf, laptop, travel documents, puzzle books, magazines, etc., but I had to squish it down a bit to fit under the seat in front of me because of its height. I love the strap on the back that fits over a luggage handle. It made walking through the airport a breeze knowing my carryon was secure! It could use more organization on the inside of the bag but there are 3 exterior zipper compartments. Perhaps the thing I liked least was its weight. This bag is really heavy! I was hoping to use it as a large purse while I was on vacation, but there's no way I would want to carry it around. Overall, I'm super happy with this beautiful bag and would buy it again!

I LOVED this bag when I first got it, however after only 2 wears it's starting to come apart. I realized that the top of the bag is structured by this piping that shifts often and I kept having to push it in. The edge seen here was once covered in a taped-on red vinyl to match, but low and behold it fell off and disappeared into the world.The stitching is also starting to come loose.

I remember years back I loved Kathy Van Zeeland purses. I was thrilled to find this one. I immediately returned it due to the quality. It was soooooo cheaply made. Extremely disappointed.

This bag is perfect size for work or travel. I already have the wheeling bag and this is a great add-on. Good quality, can be cleaned easily if needed, highly recommended.

Have this same luggage in purple I bought over 12 years and it’s still as beautiful as the day I bought it. I gave it to my daughter and bought this one for me.

I seem to have issues with luggage that blends in with the surroundings. The color of this bag won’t let that happen. It a beautiful design, as well as functional. You could use it for a weekender if properly packed.
