Ditoon Modern Wall Sconce Set of Two with Remote Control.The Ditoon Modern Wall lights are really high quality modern looking lights, they are made from high quality materials and are finished in a faultless black powder paint coating.The lights require some basic assembly which to be honest with my large finger was a pain, but for anyone else it will be easy! you just need to put for screws in each light fitting and pass a cable through a hole and plug it into the included LED driver, then using the included easy fit bracket, drill two holes and fit it to the wall connecting the wires to the mains.The light is operated using the supplied remote control, it can change between three colour temperatures, several timers and dim the lights.The Ditoon lights are rated at 26 watts, and moving onto my tester of truth you can see they are indeed babg on 26 watts which is nice to see! more often than not many lights are some way off they're rated output!.Overall these are really good lights, but at £119.99 at the time or reviewing they're a bit pricey! however if you like what you see, buy them! you won't be disappointed.

In a nutshell:Things I liked:+ They look fabulous. Really modern and the light is beautifully diffused, meaning you can't see any LEDs or anything like that. It just looks like a continuous light bar on each fitting.+ Assembly and installation are both straightforward and they have standard earthed light fitting connectors.+ Simple to control using the included remote control (if you want to leave the lights switched on and just use remote control) or you can turn them on and off at the wall.+ Colour temperature and brightness can be varied using the remote. You can also set an off timer.+ They don't use a particularly huge amount of electricity.Things I didn't like:- The price is quite high at over £100 even after the voucher is applied.- The quality of the remote control is very basic. I would prefer the remote control to look a little bit more substantial for the price.Do I recommend it?Yes. As a decorative light fitting, they are quite unique and they look very striking. Obviously, they're going to be a matter of taste as to whether or not you like this particular style, but you can judge that from the listing photograph. If you like the style of the fitting (which incidentally I think looks great), the quality of the fitting itself is good and the quality of the light it puts out is equally good.

The lights arrive very securely packed in a well-designed box. The instruction sheet is clear and printed large enough to read easily (why can't more companies do this!) and there's an accessory pack with each unit. In addition to the usual screws you even get a pair of white cotton gloves to avoid finger marks when assembling the lights. The box also includes a Phillips head screwdriver with a magnetic tip. This makes assembly less fiddly. A thoughtful inclusion and a useful tool to keep.I'm waiting for my electrician to fit new wiring in the wall but couldn't resist assembling and testing the lights. Everything fitted together easily, there are non-solder snap connectors for power to the 'arms' and a terminal block for the main power cable.The appearance is really impressive. Using the remote control you can either step through six pre-set brightness levels or fade continously from lowest to highest intensity. Combined with three colour temperatures this enables you to set exactly the right mood. The setting is remembered for the next time you switch on.These are for supplementary or mood lighting, not the main source of illumination in a room. However, on the brightest setting they do put out quite a lot of light. These are going in alcoves either side of a Victorian chimney breast and I can tell from just holding them in place they'll look stunning. I can imagine lots of locations where a pair of these would transform the look of a room and the simple, elegant design is discreet enough to look good with many different decorating styles. I genuinely can't find anything negative to say, lovely lights.

I am pleased with these modern and trendy sconces. They are of nice weight, pretty easy to assemble and far more easy to mount than expected. Literally took 15 minutes or so. They do add nice ambient light to the room. I keep them on the dimmest setting at my home.

Our son and his girlfriend have just bought their first house, and we thought this set of two wall sconces would look perfect in their living room. And they do!These come well boxed with clear instructions, as well as a control for adjusting the lighting, a screwdriver and screws and white gloves to avoid making marks when fitting. The lights themselves look fantastic in a modern, sleek black aluminum design. The dimmable LED lights have 6 brightness levels as well as 2 colour temperatures that offer a warmer or cooler tone. Whilst we did have help from a family friend, who's an electrician, these were easy enough to fit and look fantastic placed on either side of the TV. These lights are ideal for mood lighting; for example when watching a film, where you don't want the main room light on but don't want total darkness either. At £119.99, these are on the pricey side, but they look fabulous and ooze quality, so I would say they are worth every penny.
