John: A Brash Brothers Romance (The Brash Brothers Book 8)

Best Brash Brothers Book Yet!
I have loved each of the books in this series so far, but this one is hands down my favorite. John and Abby's character development was a joy to read. I loved the new glimpses we got into the brothers we've already gotten to know and the new tidbits we got for Mav and Ransom. John and Abby are sweet, frustrating, endearing, and perfect. And there is an abundance of Brash family shenanigans. Overall, a great read.

Fantastic book!
I loved this book so much! I have loved the whole series but John will hold a special place in my heart. The story flowed and I was invested from the very first chapters. This story made me feel good. Made want to root for John and him being able to overcome his past. I love Abby. She was perfect for him. Abby was such a beautiful soul. I loved getting a taste of the other characters again. They are all so hilarious together. I’m so happy to have read this.

Loved Abby & John!
I would say this is 4.5 stars. As with all the stories in this fabulous series, I simply loved the characters and the storyline. The only tiny drawback for me was that, at times, the main characters seemed to be a little repetitive about their angsty issues. Namely, both of them suffered from a huge deficit in self-esteem. This issue just seemed a little too drawn out. But, together, they found the resilience to surmount their difficulties, found their HEA, and I was quite 😊. Looking forward to Maverick's story, and Ransom's!

John and Abby...
This series has me so involved in these characters lives. So many emotions, giggle fits, and yes, tears too. These guys are hilarious, they love hard, very family oriented and they make it work. I can't decide which one I love the most, they just get better and better! Can't wait for Maverick and Cady's story!

Amazing, Humorous and soul touching
WOW I loved John's bookBeing an ex-con isn't easy. So much runs thru your head. Doubts, insecurity, guilt and so many discissions that you for 18 years never had to deal with. It was laid out for you. Coming into a situation like the Brash Brothers is enough to spin anyone's head. John had a special bond with Abby from the moment they met. She's no holds bar and tells it like it is. So the first encounter with Abby when she blurts out what happened to you and kept running her mouth he knew she was special. LOL! Abby just coming out of a six year relationship was so leery of men in general. But she felt safe and comfortable with John. They calmed each other. There were funny laugh out loud moments, tense moments and tender moments that will melt your heart. I so loved how all the Brash brothers rallied around John. It just filled my heart. I loved how John interacted with Mia OMG so goooood. I had a bit of trepidation when John's Parole Officer came to visit. I was literally holding my breath. Turns out he's a pretty good guy. You will really enjoy his book. Actually you'll enjoy all the books in this series. I so can't wait for Maverick's book. I want to see how he and Cadence play out. I almost thought John would hire her so Maverick wouldn't be her boss. The last chapter of John's book seriously sets the tone for Mav and Cady. Can't wait.

Better and better
This series is so good it was hard to put down to get some sleep. I am an avid reader and have never read a better series then this one. John and Abby were just made for each other. The set up for book nine is perfect. I can't wait to read it. I highly recommend this series to everyone who loves to laugh (the Brash Brothers are crazy funny) and anyone who loves a good love story (those boys know how to love). It's so worth your time and money.

So Sexy!
I just love John and Abby's story! John was a rough, tough guy and Abby was a quiet loner until she got with the family but she still felt like a outsider till she met John. Abby senses something in John and sticks to his side,John doesn't except handouts and he finds hard to be his brothers and Abby, but they finally wear him down,he almost losses Abby over hateful words and misunderstandings but he sees his mistakes and fixes them with Abby. This story made laugh and smile,it was serious in spots and giggles in others. This story is understanding in places, makes you feel their pain, their happiness. They don't let themselves give up till they find a solution that brings fulfillment to everyone that's involved! Please read this story, you can feel John's pain and happiness where he finally feels fulfillment in his life and happiness with Abby! You can feel Abby's up and down of not being wanted by the men in her life before Johnny and she almost gave up but she knew that her and Johnny deserved second chances!

What a masterpiece!
I’ve been waiting for this book ever since John’s character was introduced in Colton. And boy did Jenna Myles deliver!!This is her longest book yet, and it was needed. John just got out of prison after 18 years, and has to adjust to life on the outside and figure out what he wants to do with his life.We see a lot of scenes from past books from his perspective, which I really like. He’s holding so much inside, and I loved seeing his friendship with Abby blossom. I love the scene where she takes his clothes shopping, and the one where she drags him to the DMV.Abby is also a very interesting character - she’s loud and hilarious, but doesn’t feel like she fits in with the family so she holds herself apart. Seeing her friendship with the other girls, especially with Holly, grow, was amazing to read.John’s been out of the world for 18 years, so watching learn to adjust to the world of today was fun. Jonas has to show him how a phone works, and John doesn’t understand online shopping very well. He’s definitely more of a quiet guy, but he shows up and shows he cares. He feeds all the guys (and Abby), and teaches Jonas how to cook, which results in a small fire.We also see a bit of a darker side to the guys, which I kind of liked. They back up John when his past comes calling, and we find out more about what they had to do to get where they are.We also get to know Maverick a little better (oh my GOD the club scene 😂), and we find out more about Ransom’s past. This book was a masterpiece, and I can’t wait for Maverick’s book!

masterful writing, complex but real characters
John is the latest of the Brash Brothers series I have read and each book makes you love this family more and want to see what adventures they'll have next.Laugh out loud moments, heartwarming storylines and a world you want to be part of. I fell hard for these men and women and just want more of their moments.

Amazing series
I love this series about the Brash Brothers and the women that slowly but surely make their way into their lives.John and Abbys story did not disappoint. It's a story about second chances and to see these two characters figure themselves, their lives and relationship out, was beautiful to witness (even if my heart broke for Abby at one point).Looking forward to read Maverick's story next but after the bomb he dropped in this book I'm more than intrigued and can't wait for Ransom's story at the end of the year.

Brash brothers are all love!
I love all of Jenna's books. Fun, light hearted, funny! And knock your socks off sweet romance. None of that angst most people feel romance stories need, and the characters aren't perfect but are written in a realistic style, full of life, humour and love.

Big strong man with the kindest heart
Absolutely love this series and John didn't disappoint...the wait was difficult for the book release but so worth it. John's release from jail was the easy part , learning to navigate life outside prison walls along with everyone else's expectations for building a life and relationships that's were the terrifying journey begins ..... but like all the Brash Brothers John is determined to figure it all out. Can't wait for Mavericks story.
