Excellent gouge
What can I say? These are the gold standard for woodcarving tools. Some are as good, but none are better. With wood gouges, you really do get what you pay for. The steel quality is excellent, quality control is near-perfect ( I confess that I once received a gouge which was ground unevenly), and if you receive a "dud", you can send it back.These tools are an investment, one you can hand down to your grandchildren. They keep a keen edge like no other, and just a few swipes on some cardboard scribbled with green buffing compound after every hour or so of use is all you need to keep these gouges screamin'-sharp.
