Bought this for my hubby. Must like it because he uses it all the time. I think it’s heavy but he has no problem with it. Haven’t had long enough for rust build up. Seems to be very sturdy. Store’s nicely between garage door and side door. I think it’s well worth the money.

Nice to Have a Safer Way of Moving Logs
In the past while camping, the men would either use a stick or their hands and feet to move logs in the fire around. This didn't sit well with me. Having these, putting them at a safer distance not only makes it easier, but makes me feel better. They work really well.

Something you don’t know you need until you use it
Originally wanted this to use when camping in large groups as the fires we build are substantial and we want to make them safer. It’s very large and suits our purposes for the campfires but I also use it for our fireplace at home. I always worry about me or anyone else getting too close to a fire and getting injured so using these allow me to maintain a safe distance.

Heavy Duty, works awesome!
Just got back from a camping trip and took these tongs along! They worked great! Usually we are trying to use other logs and sticks to move the logs around. This results is almost getting burned and is not ver efficient. These are long so you are able to stand back from the fire with a little distance, it gives you a better visual and you are not burning you hands and arms! We like having back yard fire pits and camping fires, I will always have a pair of these around to move the logs! They are easy to use, and are heavy duty. These are not cheap metal and bend easily, these are strong and get the job done. I did notice after the first use some of the paint coming off at the bottom from the heat of the fire. No big deal and doesn't affect the usage! Very happy with these tongs!

False advertising. This is NOT wrought Iron!!!
Tube steel - hollow tube steel. A lie pure and simple. Not wrought iron. Will not last like wrought iron would. No bargain here.AMAZON - make this vendor label this product truthfully. This is a bait and switch.
