Love this scent. This one does not last as long as itiginal, but is good enough & smells just like original. Expensive but worth it to me, to have it before it is all gone for good!

Haven't worn this fragrance in about 20 years, but have always had and kept the body powder. Not made in USA like before? Fragrance smelled somewhat different...lighter than anticipated from fragrance years ago. And perhaps it's just been too long since last worn. I liked wearing the fragrance during the summer because it wasn't heavy and smelled fresh. I'll hold on to it.

I’m questioning if this is a knock off or if they reformulated the scent to include a lot of powdery notes. I’m an aromatherapist for 30 years now. There are florals yes but there are powder notes like Nuntucket Briar. I won’t return because it doesn’t have the horrible sillage of cheap perfume and it’ll work fine to spray on bedsheets or drawers. I might not wear it out in the world only because even though I’m 54 I’m not old yet and the powdery notes is what grannies wear. If this is a true C&E then they changed the scent.

Nantucket Briar was my favorite fragrance for years. I was so disappointed when production stopped a couple of years ago. When I saw this available again, I ordered it immediately, but not only does it not smell anything like the original to me, the new scent is unpleasant. Unfortunately, it's not returnable, so I'm stuck with $50 of cologne that will end up in the trash. I wouldn't have even given one star if I could have done the review without it.
