1000 Mini Cross Stitch Motifs Paperback – February 13, 2018

I love this book! There are many truly mini cross stitch patterns that I can use to cross-stitch something fun, simple and quickly on 8" plain crocheted squares I make to donate to a charity for very special children. An 8" crochet square is approximately 25-27 stitches across and 30-32 stitches high - definitely not a large area and I do not necessarily want to cover the entire area due to time constraints.These patterns are in a variety of subjects, in different sizes and can be combined as you choose to create any type of cross-stitched picture you'd like. What I appreciate the most is the quality of the designs; the patterns look realistic and are easily identifiable which is a different style from a tapestry crochet book I purchased. In that book, those patterns were 31w by 31h which made them just too big for my use.

This set of patterns is my new favorite. The designs are so charming and there are ones to suit all sorts of needs. Animals, people, professions, houses, transportation and more and more. While the designs are suitable for children, they will also win the hearts of adults. The shading and detail in the designs makes these real little treasures. Worked on plastic canvas, the items make sturdy toys for children that are easy to take along in a car, etc. Stitched on cloth, they will brighten anyone's day. I am starting with the a set of animals that will decorate a holiday wreath. Because the designs are simple, it is easy to adapt them to give a personal touch. This book is a real steal at the price, and because it is sturdy and of compact size, it is easy to carry along in your project bag.

I make many thank you gifts for people who usually never get thanks. Like the staff in our doctor offices & the people who staff my favorite grocery stores. My husband recently had a stroke & was in the hospital for a little over 2 weeks. I took the nurses names & addresses & favorite color(s) & am making them all bookmarks or they can stitch them onto scrub jackets! Have done this before & they were loved. Doesn't cost much but time!

Do you love teddy bears? If so, have I got the book for you! ;)Truly they're all very cute, the book is well made, and the categories organized well, but all the designs are so similar that it ends up being a little overwhelmingly cutesy. Based on the cover I just expected a little more variety among the "1000" on offer.

I was a little disappointed that this book primarily offers items for children. The description did not indicate that, but my daughter for whom I ordered it is satisfied with it, especially since it does have some helpful information about various stitches.

Most of the designs are for children. Lots of animals, teddy bears, etc. If that's what you're looking for, you'll love this book.

This is a really nice book. The patterns are very easy to see. The book opens flat so it’s easy to leave it open while working on a project.

I have used some of the patterns that were small enough fir a wide mouth mason jar lid. Found some patterns to be cute and some not so much.

This book is packed full with lots of bright, modern designs. Loads of variety and also has a section in front to tell the beginner the best ways to stitch, the best materials and the best equipment to use.The book is also a nice size, small and chunky so would fit in a bag if you are taking your cross stitch projects when you travel.I also think it would be possible to trace the designs on to the fabric with pencil, which may make copying the designs easier for a starter.

Really handy book to have especially if you are new to cross stitch like me.Have been able to make cards for all occasions during lockdown and I’m sure I will use for years to come.

I bought this (along with several other cross stitch pattern books) to use to make gifts for children and there are LOTS of beautiful ideas in it and it's presented in a lovely way. Of all the books I've purchased it is definitely my favourite. The designs are coloured which makes them easier to follow, and there are a lot of themes to choose from that make it ideal for work for children (babies, dinosaurs, animals, transport, seasonal themes, etc).

handy for making batches for cards, although you might get fed up of the repetition.

This product arrived on time and is a quality motif pattern book.
