Pebble is the first watch from Danish watch brand Bulbul. The watch, almost two years in the making, is the result of a collaboration with the idea-based Danish design studio KiBiSi. The design takes inspiration from the smooth contours of the pebbles found on Scandinavian beaches. Contemporary details include an organic, asymmetric dial and an injection moulded silicone loop. The stainless steel case is topped with scratch resistant sapphire glass, and measures 37mm by 40mm. The Pebble also includes Ronda Swiss made movement with a ten-year battery life and a double-sided Italian leather strap. The practical, off-centre crown allows the wearer to adjust the time more easily. Jacob Juul, an entrepreneur and self-confessed business nomad, launched Bulbul in Copenhagen during 2013. In the Middle East and India, the word bulbul means nightingale, it can also refer to a small songbird with a distinctive mohawk.
