I liked these so much, I bought another set.They are easy to use, and I don't have to worry about them breaking (my 4 year old loves to take them out and moving there around, dropping them every now and then). The water trickles out over a few days, depending on how dense the dirt is that I put them in, and if I shove them into dirt without making a whole first, since in that case, the dirt can block the opening too much. It took me a few times to figure out how to place them into the dirt. I now have nice holes in the dirt, where these fit and I just put them in the same place every single time.It's helped the plants greatly, they have really taken off (I could not get them growing in our climate with just watering every 2-3 days - too dry). I don't have to keep watering them every single day (I refill the bulbs about every 3-4 days). It's nice when you are busy, or need to leave for a few days.

These (mostly) kept my plants alive when I was traveling. The only downside is that sometimes the dirt gets stuck in the bottom and no water comes out. Just need to be careful when you put them in, about 1 out of every 3 times it will have dirt in the bottom.

I had used glass watering bulbs for years. They were beautiful but quite heavy when filled. If they were not inserted properly they had a tendency to slip. This was not a problem until I adopted a kitten and, due to it's curiosity about my indoor plants, two of the glass bulbs slipped and smashed on my tile floor. The glass splintered into tiny shards with water and mud everywhere. I found these bulbs, and, while hesitant to use plastic, I ordered them. The plastic is quite thick, and, while these are not attractive like the glass ones, they are also much lighter when filled. Even though the plant may be nudged, knocked or otherwise investigated by the kitten, these bulbs have not shifted. I also feel much better not worrying about smashing them. The bulbs come with two large, long stem and two short. I am only using the shorter stems. I would prefer we be given the option of buying either long or short stem, but, as the cost is very reasonable, I am not complaining. I will be ordering another set for other plants as I am very pleased with this product.

I have used the large globes for several plants while on vacation for a week. When I returned the plants were all fine but the globes were empty. The description of the product indicates that they will provide water for up to two weeks. Since they were empty within one week, they certainly will not provide water for anywhere near 2 weeks. So the problem is that I have always been able to leave my plants for one week without watering, but not for two weeks. The verdict is that these watering globes provide no added benefit. If I am away for 2 weeks I still need to make arrangement to have someone water my plants.

I was really excited to get these bc I was going out of the country for over 2 weeks and I didn’t want to have someone come over to water my plants. I happened to test a big one and little one out before I left and they did not work. I filled one up and stuck it in a plant and came back a few hours later, the thing was empty and my plant was over watered. I was really disappointed. They were returned.

I was going to be gone for a month and I needed someone to come in and take care of my houseplants. I ordered these water bulbs 6 weeks early as I wanted to check out if they really worked. They do work and I have ordered two more sets. They are not classy but also will not break!

I have a black thumb and got these to keep the one plant I own - the money plant in my office - alive.If that plant should ever die, the money stops flowing.These definitely work the same as the more expensive glass versions but are amazingly chinsey. The mold marks are prominent, the bulbs are very lightweight, and the plastic is very thin.

I usually water my houseplants twice a week, so I ordered these before I left on a trip for a week. They appear to have worked well, as none of my plants were wilted when I got back. It would be nice if it was possible to order just the small bulbs, as I only have countertop plants, and the large bulbs are too big for them. The large bulbs would work better for floor plants.
