This book was fantastic. I love the detail around the time period and their way of life. The strong female characters had me cracking up, and Eliza and Lenny's friendship was so sweet and supportive. The drama was dramatic, the humor was hilarious, the alpha was heroic and grouchy and sexy. And I love the longer length!!! It gave time for a standalone to really develop. Buy this book and enjoy. Well I'm off to read about the Dawson brides now, ta ta! IFKYK

Holy moly! The longest book by T and every page was awesome! This story made me enjoy a “historical western” again! It was filled with angst, action, funny and sad moments as well as enough heat to make you sweat! The slow burn of both the steamy times as well as the love story was perfect!T knows how to make you relish every word, every humorous moment as well as take those learning moments and truly be in the characters shoes!Excellent read!

Love the full length book! It is so good to go back to the beginning to see how it started. TS Joyce's books are amazing and this one is awesome. It was fun to read a historical shifter romance.

What a fantastic story. A bit different from the author's other books but like them, definitely worth reading. I’m hoping there is another set in this style and timeframe.

I am a fan of TS Joyce and have read most all of her books. This is a story of struggles, strength, and working towards the promise of a better future. The lead female character has been bullied since her mom passed away in Boston. Now she is of age and wants to find the only father who cared about her. The lead male character was turned against his will but is an Alpha wolf that requires land and an anchor to survive. These two characters meet after many years as adults for a reason but will that be enough? This is a slow burn love story with deep emotions. The actual mating is not until like 75 percent, that I struggled with as it seemed to drawn out unnecessarily. I did not lower the rating. The storyline and plot will draw you in. Read On!

I have to say I was skeptical at 1st as I'm not a big fan of historical romance, but once it grabbed me,it had me. Characters are well formed with just enough background to make me feel like I knew and understood em. Action moves pretty quickly, so never became boring or felt like TS was using words for filler. Could easily be turned into a series(hint hint) Another really good read from 1 of my 1st and favorite PR writers.

The story was very surprising. I loved the length and couldn’t put it down. I need more of this quirky family. The wit and banter back and forth was very entertaining.

An amazing and emotional story. I laughed, I cringed, I cried and I absolutely LOVED this book. The characters are amazing and the writing melts in your mouth.I would give this book 100 stars if I could!

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The character of Eliza was interesting and the supporting characters were well-fleshed out. It left me wanting more.

If you like romance and werewolves, you HAVE to read this. If you like cow boys and the wild West... you will be gripped on every word like I was.Read this book and fall in love with every character, then send this to your Lenny so she can fall in love with it too!! ❤️

I love the way the characters speak in this book. A very good read with some spice and a lot of cowboy world building. I think the author struck a really good balance of a flawed male lead. I enjoyed the tenacity and kindness of the female lead.

I have read and loved all of Ms Joyce's books and this one is no different! As always a fantastic story and wonderful characters ❤️

Loved the longer length of this novel. Just the big book bite I needed.Solid characters and storyline. Great balance of romance and action.Will be reading this again!
