Dynarex Instant Cold Pack with Urea (non-toxic) 4 Inches X 5 Inches, 24-Count

I brought these camping because I struggle with overheating after recovering from covid. (my oxygen goes down when I'm too hot). I was pleased with how well these worked. They only stay cold for maybe 20 minutes, but when they are cold, they are surprisingly cold. I didn't even have to use the whole pack either, so I packed them away for the next camping trip. (I used one in the cooler too, and if insulated they actually stay pretty cool for a few hours, they are a great option to keep your food cold too!)

Quick acting, these get real cold instantly. Break the reservoir inside and shake up. The packs are small so they don’t stay cold for too long but do their job well enough for their size.

I just tried these for the first time - usually I get the full-size ones, also by Dynarex. These are about 1/2 to 2/3 of that size. I found both sizes effective and relatively easy to use. Have never experienced a leak or failure. My observations on these small packs as compared to the full size ones:Pros::Easier to store/takes up less space in car, gym bag, First Aid kitLower priceGets very cold, same as the large onesEasier to activate (you have to squeeze the pack, and the big ones can be a challenge if you have arthritis)Cons:Treats a smaller area - good for small bumps/areas of pain but would be too small to wrap around a limbDoesn't stay cold as longSo I would recommend either one. Next time I will probably get the bigger ones because I use them on my neck.

Gets really cold quick! A little hard at first to find the inner capsule that needs to be ruptured, but when you know what it feels like, it's easy

They are difficult to "pop", it says squeeze,but there's so little stuff inside you can't just squeeze it to pop it, you have to slam it between your hands. Also, it only stays cold for about 5 minutes. I wouldn't buy again.
