I personally cannot justify spending nearly $300 on the apple version of this product, and so I decided to try this as an alternative, and I think it’s overall a good dupe. The battery life is good, and the keyboard connects quickly and is responsive. It’s good quality and the iPad is securely connected to the case.My few issues are:- It is top heavy, meaning at certain angles of the iPad, the iPad will topple over onto itself because the iPad is so much heavier than the keyboard size. If you’re putting this on uneven surfaces, it will topple over.- The trackpad doesn’t always work. I will be scrolling and it will randomly stop working, so it’s not the most reliable and will sometimes just have to switch to my fingers. It also scrolls fast and isn’t as useful as a typical trackpad.- The iPad never lays flat, and so it’s not the most ideal to draw on if that’s something you need to do (like I do! I knew this purchasing it, but I just notice it more now that I’m using the iPad and the case consistently)Overall, I am very happy with this and it has improved the functionality of my iPad a lot! If you’re like me and don’t want to spend the Apple money, but are willing to spend around $100 for a good alternative without all the (what I’m assuming) apple bells and whistles, this is good!

The magnet is very weak. The IPad keeps falling off. I would not recommend it if you use your IPad a lot

Not great. It doesn’t have much of a battery. On very light use without the backlight, the battery dropped 15% in a day. I even watched it drop when I wasn’t typing or anything on it. There is a simple led screen with Bluetooth symbol, caps lock, and the battery percentage and that stays on until you turn it off or when it finally goes to sleep. It holds the iPad well and has good angles but the lack of battery is a downer. The other issue is that the power button is a cheap little plastic switch on the side near the usb-c port. That must have been damage in transit, because when I got it and went to turn it on, the plastic piece that stuck out crumbled in my hand. There is a small metal nub that you can flip with a pencil or other object but that isn’t convenient. So you end up having to leave it on and drain the power even faster. For the price you can find something better.*edit: Updating this review after being sent another model. So the packaging doesn’t protect the switch well at all. But this one did arrive without the switch broken. And the battery does hold a lot better. Even on standby it’s good for a couple months easy. I don’t like the switch sticking out farther than anything else, with that brittle of plastic it’s asking to be broken. If it’s a good deal it can work, just be careful and if the switch is broken when you get it, return it.

Keys are silent, strong magnets keeps the tablet in place, easy to work on my lap and in bed, love it. You will too,
