Fixed grid cutter in ice machine!
One of the wires on my grid cutter in my undercounter ice machine broke, and the grid cutter as a complete unit is no longer available. I researched how to replace the wire and saw other people had done it with this 22 ga wire, so I thought I would give it a shot. The wire in my grid cutter was slightly smaller than 22 ga, but it was closest to 22 ga. With a little patience, I was able to restring the cutter and it works great! Thrilled I don't have to buy a whole new machine!

Excellent Thermal Wire
This NiChrome thermal wire, with the correct 5 amp power supply, did the trick in building a hot wire EPS cutter. It's stiff, but still easy to work with, and you get a fairly large amount for the money. Highly recommended.

Repaired our Ice Maker fast and easy
After looking at several kits to replace the wire on our kitchen aid under counter ice maker, I found this wire for enough to repair several ice maker ice cutters for pennies compared to the kits sold on line. Saved a bunch of money doing it my self. And it was easy once I learned how to pull the wire tight. 👍
