I was very happy with this purchase! I've never sublimated wind spinners before and it came out great on the first try. I pressed at 375 degrees for 90 seconds, medium pressure. I also added a crystal to the bottom. Will purchase more!

My wife and I are in our 70s and retired. I always like to learn new things, so a few months ago I got interested in doing sublimation. I studied how it is done and in that I have a massive library of photos from all over the world, I thought, Why Not?Being retired means funds are limited, so I wanted to be careful on what I got and learned on. I had an inkjet printer that I easily modified to work with sublimation inks. I then got a large, handheld heat press and some polyester items from local discount stores and went to work practicing. Once I felt comfortable with the process and believing I could actually do this, I began to acquire materials to use in a more professional level. I also made the decision that I will not do T-shirts or ball caps, as I think there are too many variables in that.I had seen the wind spinners and felt these would be good starting points. Through Vine, I ordered multiple sizes from multiple companies. I made a few mistakes in the early going, but once I got the heat and times down on the proper transfer methods, things went very well.The clarity and quality of the transferred images is stunning to say the least. This is true with every single wind spinner I got, as well as license plates and other flat products. In only one instance was there damage on the product and I used that one for a test platform. Remembering to remove the protective plastic was the only problem I had, but once I found the secret of using a high quality packing tape to pull off the plastic cover, that became easy.In all mediums, I had very few product failures and not one was due to the base product, instead it was due to me doing something backwards or wrong with heat or timing.I am reviewing multiple items from different manufacturers. In every case I have to say that the quality of the product and clarity of the sublimated images is excellent. I cannot rate one product over another. My sales in last week’s art festival bear this out. Everything sold. With these, I did a "winter series" of images. This worked out great, except I should have produced more. I have customers waiting for our next event to get the rest of the series.This past weekend I did my first art fair and displayed the products. I sold over 4 times as many as I initially thought I would sell. The people who viewed the finished products were very impressed with the quality and clarity. This is a fun hobby, that can make some extra money. I’m sold.Note: I have been an Amazon customer for almost 20 years. I write all of my reviews to reflect my personal observations and opinions on a product. It matters not if I have purchased the item myself or if it was provided to me for review. My goal is to provide other potential customers as much real-world knowledge as possible to make an informed decision. In some cases I will return to my review in 6 months or less to see if I should alter my original observations. In no case will the cost of a product influence my opinions at all. In addition, I will try to include multiple images and or videos on each product, if practical.
