Why buy a new toner cartridge if you don't need to? The cartridge manufacturer has installed a builtin counter which stops the printer from printing when the toner cartridge has printed a certain number of pages (the "page yield"). In nearly all cases the cartridge is capable of printing perfectly well for some time to come. Replacing this counter (the "reset chip"), will reset the toner cartridge back to 100% life and allow printing to continue until the cartridge is fully exhausted of toner powder. Takes less than 2 minutes to install the chip. Very easy to install. No special tools required. Detailed illustrated instructions included.
