Well crafted and sturdy to capture all creepy crawlies!
I needed something to catch spiders on the ceiling, and this is the perfect tool for that! I’m the type of person that relocates all insects to the outside of my home. So killing them isn’t an option! This catcher offers the longest handle I’ve seen on the market, and the clear plastic catcher is thick plastic and well made! Simply place over the insect, slide your hand down the handle til you reach the plastic door and slide it shut! It then stays shut until you take it outside and safely open it to release your catch! This is a great buy and no more screaming for my hubby when the spiders appear!

Works but a little annoying
Catches the bugs but can be hard to actually catch it in the box as the shutting mechanism is fairly stiff and can make it so you have to be forceful to shut it, causing mutilation of the bug or cracks in the casing.

Bugs in the house.
We live out in the country and may get spiders in the house. This products help us not kill it but take it safely to the outdoors. It is very easy to use and the kids can also check out the bug.

Less convenient than hoped
Its made fine and does what it says it does, but I had hoped the little door to the bug compartment would be easier to manipulate. As it is it’s not as useful as I hoped since there’s some risk of losing the bug in the process of closing it

Life saver
I purchased this product due to a spider and scorpion issue in my home, yes despite regular pest control. If you have ever had to swat a momma spider carrying all her 100 babies you know my pain. This allows me to capture them and set them free. I could not be more pleased with this product. It does not work for my scorpions cause they are too flat. As long as you don't mind getting pretty close because they handle is not very long, it's great. Once you cover them there is a little plastic slide piece that traps them in, and once you get them outside it slides open easily. Great product and it saves some spiders in the process. It is good quality and arrived quickly.

Waste of money.
Not worth to buy them. I was very disappointed, you really have to manage very hard to get the insects inside and, when you thought you did it, the little door at the bottom doesn't close well or...it comes off. I kept trying to figure out how to get the bugs with this thing.... it's really hard to get spiders with it. I regreted to purchase them. I got something much better than these, I wasted my money getting these things.

Works but it's gross
I felt compelled to write this review as a person who plans to retire to a cold climate with minimal bugs. Unfortunately, I have around 40 years until I can retire and work puts me in good ol' Texas with the biggest roaches I've ever seen in my life.To put it simply--this works, but it's so gross. I bought this initially because I found a dying roach in my apartment, and the first time I used it was for a very alive roach that had me ripping open the box and panic assembling this contraption.I don't know why, but I had the idea in my head that this had some sort of button that would open and close the end so I wouldn't have to get near it. This is not the case. You've got to slide the bottom manually. If you're on a smooth, hard surface like tile or concrete, you can use your foot to slide the bottom open or close, which is barely tolerable. However, if the bug is on the carpet, like the very first roach I used this for, it doesn't close as smoothly and I couldn't manage to do it with my foot. I had to bend down and use my hand to wriggle it closed -- and even though I knew the roach couldn't touch me with the contraption over it, it was terrifying! And once you've got it closed, you've still got a giant, disgusting roach that is clearly visible through the clear plastic. And releasing it, what an ordeal! I've used this twice, and both times I left my building and walked a whole block away before releasing it. There's always the fear that the huge roach will scuttle towards you, so I basically nudge it over to the opposite side of me before I slide the bottom back with my foot, then I lift the catcher and make a run for it in the opposite direction. So yes, it works, but if you are as terrified of roaches and spiders as I am, then know that the experience will still be harrowing even with this tool. My advice is to bug proof your apartment as much as possible (I set up a chemical insect barrier, door drafts, put down some diatomaceous earth, and I clean like a madwoman), and have this as a last resort.

Works Fantastic
This is a wonderful bug and insect catcher. I would say even large enough for mice and larger. It is also very sturdy. You have to get use to the sliding trap door, but I am very impressed. Is nice that the handle easily changes length or completely comes off if you want. You can even catch insects on the ceiling and then safely release them outside. I can not say enough good things about this device. God Bless and stay safe.
