At some point when working with broken china jewellery, I discovered quite by accident that interesting patterns could be scored into it and put these to use in this new jewellery design. This charm is taken from a rose design in Royal Albert's Old Country Roses and the glaze is then scored to add texture. The finished square piece of china is set into fine silver and sterling silver and the edges smoothed. The final piece is given a thorough polish. The whole process takes over an hour.
