This shampoo has no smell, and is extremely gentle. You don't need much, it lathers well, and seems to get the grime off. My partner has allergies to fragrances and to find a shampoo that's made in Canada and is also unscented (truly!) is a plus. Yes, there's a feint soapy smell but it is just the natural ingredients, not fragrance. Soap has a smell to it so it's not exactly going to be completely scent-less. I've tried other unscented shampoos which have a botanical smell to them, which does trigger my partner's allergies, and this has none of that. After a month's use, I have to update this review to say that it works well for getting clean, but I find the shampoo to be quite drying on its own, so using the conditioner and letting it soak in before rinsing is essential. The conditioner is really nice and doesn't weigh down my hair and is also unscented. This brand has replaced our other shampoo and conditioner from now on!
