Great add-on to my self-made telescope
The 4 inch solar filter was sufficient for a my self made 6" Dob telescope. I used simple cardboard and few zip ties to make the square frame and fixed the solar filter using tapes.It really works well with my telescope and able to see sun spots.Overall great product, fits well with my telescope, versatile and good value for money. Go for it!

Worked perfectly for Solar Eclipse 2024
I ordered this to create a custom cover for my Canon camera for the April 2024 solar eclipse and it worked perfectly.

Solar Eclipse Filter
The Gravitas AstroSnap filter worked superbly. Just fold it over the lens and secure with a rubber band. Can be used on your smartphone, too. Just cut a piece off the corner of the filter and tape over the lenses of your smartphone.

Enough to cover one telescope and binoculars with
Map it out with a piece of paper first, so that you cut in the most strategic manner. This was enough to cover one telescope and a pair of binoculars. And there was actually enough material left to cover another telescope if need be. It filtered perfectly. he was able to take pictures as well of the total solar eclipse. It is very effective and you can tell it is ISO approved.
