(A geode is a rock that has a cavity in it that is lined with crystals or other minerals.) • A slice was taken from the geode, electroplated with gold or silver, following the natural edge of the stone, and polished on both sides. (The amount of gold or silver is in extremely tiny quantities, with other metals, to just give the color.) • The centers are lined with crystals, some tiny druze sparkles, others with larger though still small crystal shapes, and surrounded by colorful agate. Some have more agate, some have more crystals.• Since these have a degree of silver in them, they may tarnish over time. Just apply a little silver polish (like Tarn-X or something similar) and yours should look sparkly-new! • Sizes vary, on average, between about 1 1/4" to 1 3/4" long excluding the bail, and about 5 mm thick. • Each piece weighs less than an ounce, and can be worn on either side.
